After allowing a walk-by solar salesman to get me an estimate, which I declined, I found this site to do some research. This site has a wealth of information about typical prices and systems and some guidelines for making a decision. After studying the information on the site, I was glad I declined. The contract would have been more than twice the typical cost in VA. The site provides typical break even points or you can calculate one based on your situation, and some guidance about when you roof might be too old, which were both factors in my case since I hope to move in 5 years. I also liked the info on tech. Great site.

I used the calculator on SolarReviews.com to see if this plan would benefit me or not. After I inserted my light bill amount and answer the other questions concerning my home. I realize that I would only be saving $5. So this program is really not beneficial to me. The calculator were very easy to use. Very helpful and insightful to me. So when these other companies call me telling me about the money I would save. I will tell them to Guarantee me this in black and white about the money I would save.

Good customer service. I suspected there was too much shade from trees for residential solar. I used the web site calculator and Kurt confirmed that was true. He did not try to sell me anything that didn’t make sense. Reputable company.
