I have contacted the owners in reference to an installation of solar rails done to my property. There should have been no installation of rails because my house did not fully qualify for their program. They drilled into my roof and I need this repaired. This was poor work on their part jumping the gun with the installation, now I have not received communication back after contacting them looking for repair costs to be paid. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I hope this sparks their interest in returning my communications. Very sad considering I FULLY support the solar industry as a whole! Companies like this give the industry a bad name in these cases. Very disappointed.

Took us about 3-4 months to finally choose a Solar company, but Austin Dow at Green Power was understanding and patience. He was very responsive which being respectful of our time and intelligence. I couldn't say the same of the other 5-6 companies we received quotes from.
After picking Green Power, the rest of the team was fantastic. Installers and surveyors were friendly and efficient. The electrician was knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our questions.
Overall the experience with Green Power was fantastic and would highly recommend to anyone that is thinking of Solar in Fairfield county CT.

In my previous review I gave one star, due to unreasonably long process. It had to come to the point were I had to write a negative review. I should say the reaction from the management was swift and proper. Things can go wrong, but it is how things fixed matter most. Green Street Solar made it good. I am just waiting for my electric company to give it a go, but the installation was done in one day, despite the large size of it. My neighbors were very impressed: (techs spent 11 hours on the roof!!!!!!!! Bravo!). And trust me, they are watching 🙂 I was offered more powerful panels and they were delivered as promised, so thank you Gene! Andrew, thank you for the smooth operation with financing! I am looking forward to writing about that electric meter put in reverse 🙂 I hope Con Edison moves fast and the wait is not long. So, here you go- FIVE stars!

From the inception to the completion of my solar project, Green Street Solar Power was there all the way. Gene Kingman, my salesman, was always available to answer my questions and concerns no matter the time of day or redundant they might have seemed. This was no easy feat since I had a flat roof. All the obligatory paperwork was explained to me in a thorough manner which made the process even easier. On the day of the installation the installation crew arrived on time and explained to me what everyone would be doing and how long the installation would take. The crew was very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions as the installation progressed. When they left they picked up after themselves and left my yard better than when they arrived!
I would recommend Green Street Solar to all my friends, neighbors and family who are interested in going solar.

Green Street Solar is a wonderful company to deal with. The crew were very professional and are always available to help if anything goes wrong or lI need to understand something about our system. It did take a little longer than we thought it would but we have a log home and they had to do things a little different then they were use to. We are very happy with our solar system and would recommend this company to anyone. Our close friend also went with this company at our recommendations.

Green Street installed the panels very nicely. Everything works as it should.
On the other hand communication about inspections etc was not what it could be.
I had to keep emailing and calling to find out what was going on with permitting and later with the inspection process.
Even when the final DOB sign off was done I did not find out for a month and only because I emailed for that info.

Green Street is the best. They arrange everything - paperwork, permits, inspections, etc., and it doesn't cost you anything. The only thing you have to do is be there on installation day. They are clean, courteous, and clean up afterwards​. You wouldn't even know they were there. They weren't satisfied with one of my panels so they came back and replaced it. The savings on electric are great. I highly recommend them and give them a 5 ? rating.
