This place is extraordinary! We're so happy to have found out about the Highlands Center when we came for a field trip with our homeschool group. The staff are amazing! Jules and Nick led our group of students and they did such a great job engaging the kids and really fostering their curiosity and thinking. Jules's enthusiasm is infectious. Lots of learning and fun were had. The facility is beautiful as are the surrounding grounds. We highly recommend making a trip out.

I went to this beautiful gen if a center on an Event Day. It was not planned as such.
Got to learn alot about different insects, animals and plants of the area.

Lovely. Were not there for an event, but they sure had them scheduled. Very nice walking trails. Wheelchair accessable. Restrooms on site. Giant metal bug sculptures!

Great place to spend couple hours exploring nature and art, lots of benches to set down and read book ar have nice conversations with your companion in quiet atmosphere, bathrooms are very clean and enough free parking spaces, I highly recommend to visit on your way to Lynx lake.
