Honestly, they start a job and take forever to complete it signed I believe December or November of 23. Solar installation did not get complete until may. Was promised a google nest never got. They basically mislead you saying if you use tax credit your payment will be x amount but they don’t tell you the tax credit isn’t a lump sum and will be spread over 10 years. Instead of paying 250 a month average I pay 210 a month and 205$ for solar. I’ve spoken to many people at company original sales man who
Made all promises was Bryant and I believe his boss is names Steven. I have also spoken with Tasha and Sabrina. Basically they will present you with a number you think you will be saving with credit and throw in fine print about actual savings and stop responding when you question it. Also will never give you smart thermostat that was promised and lastly they will take almost 5 months to install which by contract it is 120 business days. I do not recommend this company at all.

Been with on point for two years and this last two summers we did not see any decrease in bills. We were also promised a new A/C when the contract was made. Still haven’t gotten a new A/C after two years and they have me running around after each call.
They also damaged some property and they promised they will fix it. Still no answer when they will fix it and still have my damaged property.
Second thinking about this contract and might have to make some calls about this contract, See if there’s any breach of contract on their side.

Update: still no update from them. Don’t let these sales people who come to your door sell you anything. They do not care about anything except taking your money. I’m in the process of getting an attorney to review the documents and file against them.

Spouse signed a contract last in May 2024. They installed it June, it was turned on in July. (seems reasonable!) They had one portion of the order missing (we asked for bird proofing because we have too many pigeons already!) but they fixed that mistake and sent someone out to install it.

I think we were oversold on how much it would save us (our utility sucks, not necessarily the solar panels) so we're actually spending MORE now on energy. I don't thing it's entirely OnPoint's fault as they probably RARELY worked w/ ED3, and our utility has some weird shady stuff on the side that's super annoying...

Overall happy w/ the install and setup. Less so about our bill from our utility, but that's (again) not entirely their fault.

Dylan the sales rep told us the first month was paid then promised to pay the next 5 months on him due to giving us wrong information on price and that it didn't go up (it does) well we didn't get any of that it also took them 3 months or longer to get thr panels up and running to top it off was told thst the panels would cover the house normal electric usage but it did not so now I i am paying more than I would have if I stayed with AEP to top it off it's in my now ex name and I told them not to turn anything on until I reviewed everything they did not listen I also told them to come take them off but they refused

EDIT @onpointsolar I did reach out to customer service. And they were of no help, so do I reach out to them again

We had Onpoint Solar install our solar pkg but i sooooooooo regret it. My SRP bill has been way above 100 thru now. I called them bout it but have always gotten no resolution. This week in Guadalupe ,where i reside the maker of the panels came to check them due to complaints from other residents that continue to have large SRP BILLS. I found out that 10 additional panels are needed along with a battery to optimize my energy use. Turns out that I was never advised that these things needed a battery. Not once did the salesman from onpoint ever advise this. Just like Joseph Mcconnell also said I would get large checks from the government and that these were to go back onto the loan balance. I filed my taxes along with forms needed and nothing was ever refunded. Now i have to pay onpoint monthly along with a new vender from whom i am buying this battery for the solar to get optimal usage of the energy. I feel that Onpoint failed in there sales to me. They blame the 3rd part salesman they used Joseph Mcdonnell and I feel onpoint should have provided the battery. I believed in Joseph, but he just rushed me into the sale. which was my mistake. I will be pay 247 for the onpoint system until i file for bankruptcy or sell the house. The new vendor will be 147 monthly once the system is upgraded to where it should have been done in the first place. DONT GET FOOLED , like i’ve been.
