I've had solar panels installed on my house by PE Solar for over a year now, and I am extremely disappointed with the results. The company promised significant savings on my energy bills, but the reality has been quite the opposite. For the past year, I’ve been paying $212 per month for the solar panels, and on top of that, my APS bill has ranged from $400 to $500. This means that I am paying significantly more now than I was before the installation.

What makes this situation even worse is that once the solar panels are installed, you're stuck with them—you can’t easily take them off. This has not only been a complete waste of money but has also caused unnecessary financial strain. I strongly advise others to avoid PE Solar and carefully reconsider before investing in solar panels from this company. Their promises of savings are misleading, and the overall experience has been nothing but frustrating. Don’t make the same mistake I did—save yourself the headache and money.

The experience was easy from start to finish, the service was great. They even helped with getting the roof re-done. Everything was coordinated seamlessly, communication was never an issue. Even during a very rainy July, my Duke bill plummeted! My energy bill fell from twice the average household to below an average household! A blessing for a house full of kids! Saving money on my first month and we are far from peak season! I highly recommend PE Solar.

The start to finish procedure was very quick during Covid. They explain everything to you and basically promise you 8 months of credit and only 2-4 bills a year. Then they have you sign a paper that says they don’t guarantee a credit. In almost 3 years I’ve only had 1 credit of $7! I pay almost $200 for Solar and $200 aps in the summer months. Before I was paying the equalizer $196 a month. Now I’m paying double. Don’t buy solar it’s a huge waste of money! They even sent someone out to check my panels concerned it wasn’t producing enough energy but I’m still barely in the green zone so they won’t add panels.

Great company, great incentives, communication and customer service. The staff was very good about communicating through the whole process, the delays we had were because of the city, not the company! After the install I had not yet logged into the website to check usage, the company saw there was an error and sent a technician out to ensure everything was working properly! I am very happy we chose to go with PE Solar!

As someone who has knowledge into how solar works I wanted to give my honest review.
4 stars, for a solar company in Phoenix AZ that is GREAT. Most don't know much, or they do know a lot but they only look out for themselves and not the customer.

When it comes to the sales rep, each one is going to be different. Even as a leader (I have been a leader in many different sales teams) it can be difficult to ensure every rep is doing things the proper way. From the leadership I had the opportunity to talk with, they do care about the customer.

Now the cons - Installation can be slower compared to some companies, however it is high grade work and they ensure they cross their T's and dot their i's. Some companies have been caught cutting corners, one of them is considered one of the largest installers in this state! PE Solar in the history me and my partners have known them have been considerate and care about their reputation.

Options would probably be my only other complaint and thats because I like choice. For most people this isn't a big deal, as they just want a system that works. For me I want to compare the 3 best panels and figure out which one is going to give me the best bang for my buck. I also like to be able to choose many other things, but again I'm picky.

PE Solar was able to get all our paperwork completed from the city quickly to start the project. Took awhile to deal with the city to get things approved afterward so be prepared for that. Totally worth it. My solar panels are high functioning. Just saw my first bill that is reflecting my solar production. My Duke bill is 50 bucks... this time last year it was $350! And its not even been very sunny this time of year. Solar power is amazing.

PE Solar was fantastic to work with. Their sales team is informative and knowledgeable yet not pushy or insistent. Additionally, their project coordinator is always available for questions and does a great job keeping you up to date on the next step in the process.

I would have a huge concern about PE Solar. They provide a terrible customer services. I purchased a new solar system six months ago. The solar system does not provide 100% electrical power usage for my house as they promised. I still have to pay 50% of the month electrical power usage to the SRP. I contacted their manager Kaci Feinstein as well as their customer services many times but they failed to fix the problem for me. I truly need help to resolve the problem ASAP as I already paid them $43,000 for this solar system. This is a terrible customer services that I have ever experienced from a company that this.
