December bill is still floating the country but I got my new city bill FINALLY today!! It was due on January 22nd. Today is January 27th. Of course it had the $130 arrears tagged on from December. No idea what the late charges were since I NEVER SAW MY LAST BILL!! Love the little *rate increase effective 2025* above my address section. That's special! Increase on what? Water? Sewer? Trash?Gas? Tax? Or all of the above?

Water deposit was $275! And I never received a trash can after being here for over 2 weeks despite being told they would let BFI know. Water quality is horrible- I wouldn't drink out of the faucet at all

Update to add: Kendra was the most helpful and courteous person I spoke with. I don't know why these other reviews are speaking negatively about her because she had a very positive attitude and went above and beyond to help me. My can was delivered the very next day. Thanks so much Kendra!

Brewton is proud of its water per my bill every month. The water is terrible. It smells like straight chlorine coming out of the faucet. We are not able to drink unless ran through a filter first. I gave three stars because Krista is very helpful and though she shoots it straight she listens and I can respect that. Kendra on the other hand needs to find a new job that will embrace her nastiness with people. Today has been my second and last encounter with her. She should not be in any type of customer service position. She is just a completely nasty disrespectful person, and I wasn’t a rude nasty customer. Krista had me helped in less than 10 minutes.

I'm a new Brewton resident (as well as the state of Alabama). I love Brewton, its a beautiful place. However, I was very disappointed and surprised at the amount of deposit I was charged for water! $125.00 is outrageous. In addition, I don't understand why there is a charge of $2.50 to pay with a debit card at the drive-thru. A little greedy. Is there a charge if I use a check or cash?

I came in to the Brewton water Dept office to pay my water bill. I unfortunately encountered a Krista Reeves. I was wearing a face mask and I was speaking Loudly so that I could be heard and understood.She claimed she could not hear anything I was saying . She was having a very nasty attitude the whole time I was there. I asked for my debit card back and she threw it back under the window at me 🧐

Every time I come in here to pay my bill they are extremely rude. We had a water leak that caused our bill to go up. I had $100 to put tords my bill, the lady says your usage and bill went up how do you expect to pay it off if all you can afford is $100 right now. Extremely rude and disrespectful!!!!!!!

You think this water is bad then you haven't been to Florida lately... The only problem I have is the water pressure but it's not bad..

I work at a business in town and have to constantly schedule stop and start services. The ladies are always helpful and courteous to me.
