I have moved out of my old place and I am still getting billed by this company and I already turned off everything I called them to let them know that I was moving and they wanted to tell me that they have no record of me in the system that I have moved and it's been over a year so I really don't like this company but ever since I moved and I paid my last bill and they want to say to me that I did not pay my last bill in October of 2024 but I know that's bullshit because I wasn't living in that place until October I have moved at the ending of May of last year of 2024 so tell me how ridiculous this sounds to you but to me I think it's just messed up that they don't keep that much records of anyone on file or anything so I don't know if I'm the only person that's experiencing this but they told me if I don't pay they are going to take me to court and it's an outstanding balance of $5,000

Frequent outages, little to no communication when an outages occurs, 9 to 1 hours, horrible customer service, and 40 below zero nights is a winning combination.

Monopoly turn nightmare for the entire community.

We lost power and I tried calling customer support. I got thrown in a queue as others were experiencing the same problem. I appreciated that they told me what place in line we were, but the garbled advertisements between the music has got to stop. I didn’t have the patience to stay on the line to even hear when the problem would be remediated.

This week I was in contact with the Yampa Valley Electric Association. to sign up as a new property owner by asking to change service responsibility from the previous owner. My first contact went extremely smooth. Then in less than 24hours I had to correct my start date. Well, that seemed to be a real chore for the employee who after 10 minutes turned me over to Jully. Jully was a dream to work with and had a "can do attitude". She completed my request with ease and saved me considerable amount of money. I am very greatful and would recommend her highly as a terrific employee with a customer friendly approach.

Within this month my power has been out 3 times. The last time it took about 4 hours to fix, this time it has been 10 hours with no signs of it coming back on. One would hope to be reimbursed for this issue, but you know we won't be. You bet your face that if I didn't pay my bill because of this they would shut my power off. So where is the accountability on their part? Why does the electric company get away with denying us our electrical needs without any consequences? It's cold as heck in my place, at least bring us some more blankets

Horrible customer service. I had an issue paying by checking account with the portal, and what the lady told me on the phone was completely false, according to my bank. Usually businesses try to help their customers, but Yampa Valley Electric does not care and will not try to help you.

Absolutely appalled by the service today. Leave work early to try to get over there to pay in person so that they can get it turned back on. Pay at like 3:40 the woman says "Actually our after hours start at 3:30 and that will be an extra $118" YOUR HOURS ARE FROM 7 TO 4. What kinda absolute scam is that to pull on customers?

I have had a terrible experience with this company, my power had been out for over 8 hours I called customer service 5 times and still nothing changed. I ended up driving by to see if the workers were doing anything but they were just slacking off not doing much at all. I don’t know how many guys it takes to fix a power outage but it shouldn’t be that many and 8 hours Are you serious, this has to be the worst electrical company in existence. Thanks for nothing. Do a better job please or find a company that can.
