Just like the recent reviews, avoid them!
I was with them from March to the end of July. I'm in my 20s, have always enrolled for paperless billing in any and everything that I do. My few months with them, I received only 3 emails, initial request for service, initial account information and final bill. I never received my monthly bills or payment confirmations. Every month I kept submitting request for paper free billing yet never received my bills online. By the time they sent the bills by mail and it made it throughthe USPS system, they were sending a disconnect notice and I was receiving them both the same day or a day apart, resulting in a late fee every month from them because these scammers refused to honor request of paperfree billing!
I have had service terminated with them over 3 weeks ago and yet, they are still adding fees to a final bill from them An ACH reject fee(I use the same account to pay every bill and have had that amount almost 2 decades, yet it rejected for them), and a late fee(I terminated service, I am not with you guys anymore!!)

I will be putting negative reviews everywhere that I can from them and will be reporting them to the public utility commission.

If I could use zero stars I would! Ever since I’ve switched over to this company it’s been a totally struggle paying these overly high monthly bills, I switched over in October last year and man I’ve had 3 different plans and I’m still paying over $200 each time in my apartment even on the cool/cold months. I’ve tried everything I can to reduce my usage and my bill gets bigger! This month is $280!!!!! I was with my previous company for 8 yrs and never went over $180 and wanted to try this ridiculous company since the sales agents were hounding me every time I walked into Sams! I always run away but WHY did I give them the opportunity to hustle me! I hate this company so much and want out, but I can’t play with my credit score by switching. My advice….. STAY CLEAR FROM THE SALES AGENTS AND STAY AWAY FROM JUST ENERGY! Just Energy (SAM’S CLUB) your street/ in-store teams are sneaky little hustlers, your energy plans are quick hustling scams, and you should be ashamed! Then you to leave the “reach out to our customer service team for further assistance” to try to make yourself look good! This doesn't help any of us at all! Sale your company that’ll help!

SCAM! These are some of the most dishonest and unethical people you will ever interact with. Their Better Business Bureau rating is an F, and I wish I had known that. Stay far, far away from this company and what they say they offer you. They lie and take large amounts of money from you through dishonest marketing and huge fees. Stay far away!

PLEASE BE ADVISED . Do not sign up with this company you first bill is cheap the second bill is outrageous. I work full time and my kids are in school during the day , all lights are off, at night i followed the advice to run the washer , the air and keep a light on and my bill was 300 dollars, they claimed i saved like 300 so they are basically trying to charge 600 dollars in a month

Dont use this company by any means, you sign up with them agree on a rate, they charge you double rate, you try to cancel they charge you over 500 in cancellation fees, you dont pay they send it to debt collecter, be aware do not sign up with them do not

I signed up at Costco with a Just energy rep. She assured me that the rate will be cheaper than with my current company. That was a lie. Their rate was 16 and change while my existing company is under 12. Do not buy in with just energy

Do not give this company your business. They overcharge and do not follow through on their promises whenever issues are brought up by their customers. I saw my energy bills almost double monthly, with their energy readings telling me I was using the energy equivalent of a four person family living by myself. I am a teacher and usually am not home often enough to rack up that high of an energy usage. I was also double charged for an energy bill after directly paying an agent who said they would take care of it, only for me to still be charged on an autopay that I could not turn off. So when I contacted the agents supervisor about the issue, he said he would remove the extra charge from my upcoming power bill. When the power bill gets charged, it is still full price. Avoid these people like the plague, especially if they come knocking door to door.
