As a new user my experience was incredible. The process was extremely simple and to the point. The plans were broken down with clarity, it helped me see what plan I needed. Customer service was great when communicating with me and made sure all questions were answered. Service was rapidly activated.

I recently called to change my electric provider. I choose Chariot Energy. This was the best decision. The rates are decent but the customer service was superb, very helpful, polite, professional, and I had electric started within an hour.
I love I could talk to a person, not a computer!! Great job Chariot Energy

If I could give no stars I would love to! I agree 1,000% with Stephanie's comment below. I got bamboozled by these cons. They claim you will save money. THEY WILL NOT!!! If you have solar never ever use them. I was told reliant isn't a good place to go but they are transparent and fair. I was a fool to switch to Chariot and I will never renew or work with them in the future. I own companies in the area and I will recommend other businesses not to use them either. I have more than 2 dozen solar panels in great condition and I got 11.35 cents back from solar on a recent bill. Reliant never paid me less than 60.00 monthly toward my bill. I tried calling them to find out information, make adjustments etc. They claim someone will call you and then fake call and hang up I am assuming to show they returned the call. They did this multiple times. Never work with these people. Really, it is that bad

I was charged additional prices such as a delivery fee that was not mentioned on their rates when I was searching. Definitely not a good provider and my bill has increased by 60% since my last provider. I regret joining chariot energy. To cancel is even worst they charge $15 per month u owe. How is that even fair if you don't tell people what the fees will be. It's the only company doing this do not fall for this scam it's out rageous. And trust me you bill will be higher even with their free nights scam plan.

Awful. In the sunniest, hottest month of the year, I only got $10 in solar credits on my bill. When we had Reliant, our bill was RARELY over $100 in the summer months. Now it's $200. RIDICULOUS...don't fall for their claims. ***Responses from this "owner" seem to be pretty blanket for bad reviews...Call us, we'd love to talk to you. I have chatted with reps multiple times (and it appears other bad reviewers have as well) with no solution. I DEFINITELY will not renew with them and I will most likely cancel early and go back to Reliant.

I called and started talking to representative about free night time service but i didn’t get all information , like the timing and how much of total kWh to use at night. I called next say and i got all information in detail.

Best electric company in Houston, just wish their delivery fee would not be $29.. also if they would offer free nights or weekends to existing loyal customers that would be an added bonus . But overall been with them for nearly 7 years and likely won’t switch as long as my rate stays comparable or better than others. Thanks Chariot!
