Horrible customer service. Pay for the expensive Internet package get upload speed that is no better than dial up. Was actually told by a manager that maybe we should go somewhere else for Internet knowing we can't because they are the only one in town that can provide service. Was told by the same guys that there was some interruption somewhere in our neighborhood weeks ago also was told there was a trouble ticket. But found out no trouble ticket was in the system. *Update* Got T-Mobile Internet. Faster, cheaper, and someone is not saying it's me not them. $50 for 1 TB

Customer service was beyond helpful. Experienced a loss in family and as an estranged family member living in a different state they were more than helpful and very responsive. Thank you for your help.

Everytime there is a power outage event, EPA has responded quickly. For example, when a car collided with a pole on Race, they were already aware of the problem by the time I called. Not only did the collision take out the pole, but it also affected the transformer on Mitchell. The crew had the power back up within the hour. The person taking the call was super nice and informative. I think EPB is terrific, including the repair crew and the Cable/Internet folks. Thank you EPB for all you do for the town of Glasgow.

Only going to here feed back with a good review. A good company would read all reviews and try try to adjust their business. If there was an option for 0 stars I would have used it. Their service is terrible! Their employees are the rudest! Everytime I call the women over there are so rude, inconsiderate and They can never tell you the truth it seems. The yellow paper the man left on my door without knocking says one figure and They tell you some other number you have to pay which is most time way way more than the bill states. They must make it point to hire the most unhappiest people of glasgow to work there. Then when you pay it they turn you off before then next bill is due! They don't send paper mail so its near impossible to know when you your bill is due. My bill isn't due untill the 10th of May. Today is the 4th, the disconnected us didn't knock on the door to even let us know why they are walking around our yard, and the guy didn't even have the good manner to knock on the door when he left the yellow paper on the door. Our internet goes out and we cant use it half the time or that bill is due a week before the tv bill. They make things so confusing for their customers that it frustrating! When talking to their employees they make you feel like your below them and they are better people. I would not recommended getting any of their services!!! Even when things need replacing such as a new cable from the pole outside to you house because the cable is old, their service guys are like ohh well I don't know we would have to do this and we cant do it today. In other words your telling me your to lazy to do your job?

If I could give it negative stars I would. They are most expensive people I have been with. Bowling Green is cheaper. Illinois is cheaper. Anywhere is cheaper. And the people are rude and just don't seem to care. All they care about is money. It's just like the light bill. Ever since the changes. My bill went up almost $300. So I'm paying a $500 bill each month. On top of that they never work with you on your bill. They wouldn't wait just 2 days till I got paid and they shut my stuff off. I can't wait to move out of the city for cheaper bills. It's way to high anywhere you live in the city limits. They need to go back to where the bills were cheaper. Even if I did the prepaid it would take all my money cuz of how high it is. And half the time the staff are not even nice to. And don't wanna help. The new owner needs to do something. I'm never home.

I paid my bill last week. We do the pay as you go that EPB offers. 3 minutes after paying my bill as I am on my way home, I get a call from my spouse stating the electric had been turned off. I had the receipt in my hand. I called EPB and was transferred twice after explaining what had just happened. I was informed by a lady there that the bill was not paid by 9:30 and that is why we were disconnected. I stated my case that I had my receipt in hand. Nevertheless, I had to pay $35 more to get it turned back on. I expressed my issues to the lady over the phone that I had with EPB's customer service, and also tried to explain why they were losing customers. The lady commented that she was going to waive my $35 reconnect fee at that point. I said ma'am its not about the money, it is about the principle of how you treat people. The bottom line is that my electric was ON when I paid my bill and 3 minutes later it was turned OFF. I said if I owe a $35 reconnect fee that I would pay whatever they felt I owed. She then rudely stated, well I was going to waive that reconnect fee, but now, if you want electric, you are going to have to pay it. Have a nice day. Then she hung up on me. So I drove to the window at EPB, stated my concerns with the manager Nicole. She took my $35 reconnect fee. Never apologized. In fact, she said cut off was at 8AM not 9:30. So the first lady I spoke to, doesn't even know their own policies. Their rates have increased year after year to pay for their employees who have now reached retirement level. All the money is coming from current customers to cover their poor future planning. We have no outside options of switching companies in this town. We get out power from the TVA. In a city council meeting the EPB was quoted as saying that the reason rates were increasing was due to TVA raising their prices. The TVA rep stood up in the same meeting and stated the rates for the EPB had not gone up at all! A blatant falsehood! Pass the buck until you can't anymore. Luckily, we have a 2nd option for cable and internet now as they recently raised their rates on those as well. If you want your cable and internet disconnected, you have to pay LOL. If you only subscribe to internet, the price is higher than if you combine it with cable. Money, money, money. Our elderly have to sit in local churches during the summer and winter months. They are on fixed incomes and can't afford to heat and cool their homes. Luckily, our local churches have picked up and allowed them to stay through the hottest and coldest parts of the seasons. Thank you!

If 0 stars were possible. I would. The electricity is very expensive. More than I have ever paid in my life. I have good credit (above 700) and no previous collections except a medical bill and I was told I had to do pre-pay and not a monthly bill. When I asked why I was told “The system just tells us what you pay”. It was $500 if I wanted to do a monthly bill and it was not a deposit. I was not going to see that money again, I asked. I asked if it would be a credit toward my account, no. If I would get it back if I moved? No. The internet is terrible for what they charge. They take advantage of being the only electric company for city limits 100%. My bill is high every Monday, never fails. Every Monday. I’m gone Mon-Fri for work but like clockwork, every Monday my usage is high. The worst utility company I’ve ever had to do business with.

The internet stops working several times per day. I have had technicians out about 4 or 5 times and they just change out fittings that the last technician changed. They say they can not fix it if it's not messed up when they get here and blame outside sources like Netflix, and when you look at the modem it is rebooting itself. I am yet to have 1 technician even check the tap. The employees are nice but the quality of service is terrible and field techs are not trained how to properly troubleshoot.
