I moved down to Cedar creek lake October 31 2011 and I didn't have a choice I was moving into a Coop area and it was the Best part of moving to the lake Fast Friendly and always doing there best for you

These people have horrible customer service skills not only that if you decide to get your electricity with them get ready to pay for issues that have nothing to do with you and nobody explain other than reading from script. Like I said horrible customer service skills

Horrible. You cannot get a hold of these people on the phone. My husband had our 2 year-old son (we had 3 other children at school) in their office, trying to pay 380 of their 400-dollar bill (we hadn't hardly used our central air) after they had cut the power. It was only the 4th, a Monday, and we didn't even think to ask for an extension because we had plans to take care of it on the 5th. They said they wouldn't turn it back on until they had the full amount. I had to borrow money from a friend, and by that time all the food for our family had gone bad in the refrigerator. TVEC is positively diabolical, and unfortunately they are the only choice where we live. Please, some other power company save us.

Called early November to get electric connected at what was going to be our dream home! App didn’t work Wendy was kind enough to spend an hour on the phone researching why. Then she finally deferred to a paper app, we completed it together NOV 27, 2023.
My dream home is on hold, 3+ mos later, 5 phone calls, about three hours and still no meter for electricity. Three electricians say it only needs Tvec to hook up meter? Heather has reviewed, Wendy has reviewed 4 more times, By the way- it is almost March. We thought there was address issue so we labeled it clearly identifiable to assist
Spoke with Katie today, who shared she is only customer service, but will find a status to let me know why #In search of electricity. #Living the Dream. #praying for electricity. #Patient and still in waiting.

8 years ago, I had to pay off someone else's bill from years prior on their account just bc he was my boyfriend. Wow, didn't he benefit from that! I shouldn't have to pay off someone else's past dues from their past!
Today, customer service is okay. If you're kind, they are too. If you're not, they're not.
I still don't love the idea of CO OP. I want a choice!

I ask to have a metered installed. They have me a time frame of 7-21 days. It has been 5 weeks and all I have received is an empty meter box. No phone calls or scheduled times to come out. You can’t even leave a message for anyone after office hours. Great coop for their members!
