This is a long overdue review I had been meaning to write. Texas Solar Guys and Sean did not end up installing a solar system for my house. I actually decided solar in general was not the best decision for me at this time. However, I was so impressed with Sean from initial outreach and receiving the bid to answering follow up questions I wanted to write a review. If you are in the service area Texas Solar Guys supports, I highly recommend reaching out and working with Sean. He's informative, friendly, and also offers a ZERO pressure sales environment. If I decide to move forward with solar in the future, this is the company I will choose.

I hired Texas Solar guys a couple of years ago to correct a solar system that had been installed incorrectly. The did a fantastic job of redoing the system and putting it back into production. A year later I contacted them and had them double the system again and once again they came out and added to my array. I decided once again to have them add yet another addition to the array which now produces 20Kw. Sean and his team did a fantastic job. The system has performed flawlessly and Sean has responded on several occasions to drop by and check the system. I am living overseas working for the US Government, and anytime I have had any issues he has always gone t the house, looked over the system and corrected what ever was causing the issue. A solid company, a fair company and an excellent contractor. I would highly recommend Sean and the Teas Solar guys to anyone who is looking to get a system installed and functioning. Great Job!

Texas Solar Guys are Awesome!
We just had a 9,460 Watt Solar system designed by Sean Taylor and installed by his team from Texas Solar Guys L.L.C. out of Buda Texas.
I had researched the possibility getting a Solar system for years and finally decided I was ready. I looked at 4 other bids: 3 from National companies and 1 other local company. The price of the TSG complete system came in under every other bid I had seen, and I liked the products better. Seans no nonsense approach and absolutely zero pressure way of presenting his products and services showed me how the process can pleasant and easy.
Sean proposed Q-Cells paired with Enphase micro-inverters for a 95% offset on our average electric bill. He sent me the specification sheets for the components to look over right away. I did have quite a few questions and when I called, he answered!! He really knows how to explain things in a way that insured to me that everything would handled with integrity and efficiency, and it was. He even wrote up another quote for a system to eliminate the electric bill completely, just because I was curious how much larger it would need to be. Wow, it needs to be much larger!!$$
They coordinated with PEC from the beginning without issues, the guys took care and precision placing all the equipment on our metal roof, through our wall, with the disconnect at our electric panel and the outside disconnect, and the Enphase controller.
His team did a fantastic job on the much anticipated installation day and it was up and running by that afternoon. The entire process was seamless from the first day I contacted them to the final inspection.
Sean works with BrightOak Energy if you want to finance the project, and that was a painless process as well.
I am as happy as I could be with our system from the way it looks to the way it is performing! You can monitor your system in real time with the Enphase app. from your phone or computer. On sunny days it generates more energy than we use, and that make me feel great about the investment.
I can whole heartedly recommend you get a get a quote from Texas Solar Guys and Sean Taylor and I’m really dang sure you’ll be very happy you did!!!

Just had my solar inverters changed out. Had to find a new company since the one that installed them is gone. Not too many companies will work on someone else’s units. I found Texas Solar Guys on my inverter’s site as people they work with.

They upgraded my solar panels and fixed the dreaded poor configuration of the racking. (The panels had to be removed to replace burnt out inverters but they were hooked together!) It was a simple fix but no one before recommended it.
They were on time, great communication when they had that problem, extremely reasonably priced. Sean Taylor n crew were real professionals. Highly recommend if labor is not included in your warranty.
And no, no relation to them, just a happy customer.

On time, great customer service, friendly, knowledgable and fixed the issues I was having with my solar panels. I bought my house with solar panels already installed and had no knowledge of how to monitor them or if they were working properly. I had been interested in Solar energy for a quite few years, and always knew it was something I would eventually commit to having installed. I wanted to make certain that the time was right, and also to find the right company to do the work.

After speaking with several companies, Texas Solar Guys provided the most direct and honest information about all aspects of the process, and what to expect once the project was complete. I had a TON of questions, and they managed to answered them all!!

The proposal was straight forward and once we signed everything Texas Solar Guys received the approval from our electric company (PEC) in one day. Texas Solar Guys also provided me with the information to get the approval from our Home Owners Association and they approved the plans quickly and with no issues. The Solar install took one day and we were up and going!

We had the install on August 19, but I wanted to wait to see what our electric bill would look like and how much we would actually save before posting a review. The first full month electric bill (September 2019) was $83.21 (September 2018 it was -$186.95), and second month on the system ( October 2019) the bill was $56.49 (October 2018 it was -$155.65). Needless to say that we are THRILLED, and delighted to have Solar energy!

Texas Solar Guys gave us a drone-shot of our solar panels, and a login for a website/phone APP where we can view the Solar energy produced by our system, and the amount of energy we consume.
