I wish I had never got rid of my propane tank after they finally got natural gas put in my area. The hype they told us on how much better natural gas was than propane was just made up. The biggest lie was price. It is NOT less expensive than propane and this greedy company charges every month whether you use gas or not. I am getting billed $12 and I used NO gas whatsoever. I regret switching over. They used to charge me $10 for using no gas use and now it is $12 for nothing.

Similarly to other reviews I’ve seen, we did NOT get a bill, we did NOT get a phone call, we did NOT get the red tag. NOTHING to inform us of our payment. We called SEVERAL times, where they couldn’t be bothered to answer or give helpful answers to our questions and when we finally DID go to the office, they tell us that the bill isn’t ready yet, and also tell us that we can’t set up auto draft and have to use the bill we should’ve gotten in the mail to get the information needed to pay online. The bill that we DID. NOT. GET. And when we inform them of this they say too bad and take $400 from us (in cash, because apparently we can’t just be invoiced) to turn the gas back on. Why $400? We have no clue, because they didn’t bother to explain what the grossly overpriced fees were and how many we had. Way to spit in your customers face. Shame on all of you

We moved to Huntingdon 9 months ago. Our oven has never worked right and our home warranty company finally agreed it needed to be replaced.

I called WTPUD to inquire about disconnecting the old range and connecting the new and found out you did this service for a fee.

That fee was totally worth it! The two gentlemen who came to the house and disconnected the stove were professional and informative about the procedure. After the new stove was delivered, the same two gentlemen came back out. They informed me about a problem with the previous hook-up and corrected it for us. They hooked up the entire stove and set it up. They tested all burners and the oven. They cleaned up everything and did not leave any garbage.

We could not be happier with the exceptional service we received. All of the WTPUD personnel we spoke with either via phone or in person were fantastic! So glad we moved here!

I'm very upset. My bill went from $91 one month to $191 for the next and only explanation was that gas was going up. Unacceptable! I have been struggling, raising my grandson, alone, working through pandemic which has lately been 2 days a week You figure it up. We have actually kept the thermostat set very low to save money. Well so much for that. We have lived in 64 degree temperatures just to end up oweing more. I haven't decided what I will do but I won't stop till this story is heard. Basically, all I know I will not be buying a new gas central unit and hot water heater, which was my plan. I ask them to come check meter or something and they never did.

I lived in mckenzie as a teenager. I moved away for many years. My husband has served our county for 18yrs, until last year when he was med boarded out. We thought it would be great to move back home. Well I am here to tell you that was not such a great idea. We bought a wonderful home and turned on all utilities. Then this sickness took over our county. We have been having a lot of trouble recovering our mail. We didn’t receive a bill from the gas or water comp. The water company was so kind I never heard anything til our bill finally did arrive and even then they were so very kind. We took care of it as soon as it was recurved and I have never heard another word. But the gas company opening admitted to me and our neighbor that people weren’t getting their bills. I went online to pay it as soon as the bill came. Just to find out they shut it off that day while we were out. No one left a note or sticker informing us. When I spoke to them they did not seem to care that we hadn’t received a bill. Even tho I had paid my bill online they wanted 175 more to come hook it back up. And when I said we may not be able to they informed me that’s how I heated my water, so I should probably pay it. My husband served 4 tours of duty and two of those times he willing volunteered. So that he could protect people like this. And the way they repay us for all that our family has given up and lost for them. I’d give us 175 dollars or your kids won’t have warm water. Our country is in the middle of a dark time. We should be helping one another not kicking each other in the teeth. Not only do I not recommend this company but we are current having everything that requires gas removed from our home. That way that won’t get another dime of ours. In closing I want to say to whom ever in running that company, don’t worry, I heard hell is a dry heat..

Just FYI don't try to contact them to turn your gas on by phone. They don't answer. You will have better luck going to the main office. Absolutely irritating.

Friendly staff when I have to call and find out what my bill is for the month(mail carrier problems).Well lit outside with front view of the road night deposit box. Drive thru is always friendly too (regular business hours)
