Spent weeks meeting various solar installer firms before settling on Norwalk Solar, and I'm really pleased with my choice. Weeks were wasted attempting to engage with large firms, like Baker Electric, trying to tailor the system to my needs and sorting out the roof as per my specifications. None could match the direct customer support provided by Norwalk Solar. Working with Dean was a treat, he responded to my queries instantly, always quick with his replies, and was always ready to meet my requirements as a customer. After making my decision and getting the city's approval for the project, the roof work was done, the panels were installed shortly after, and my electrical system was expanded. Passed all the necessary inspections and was able to switch on my system without any issues. Bottom line, choosing Norwalk Solar is a decision you won't regret. These guys outperform and outbid the larger firms, so don't hesitate to enjoy the experience they provide. In my opinion, they deserve 6 out of 5 stars.

Original review: I've had a somewhat mixed experience so far. On two occasions last week, I was assured that 'we will complete the installation tomorrow,' but each time the crew arrived, they only made minor headway. The first day of the 'complete install,' only the rack system was partially installed, and now a week later, the crew is only here for the sub-panel installation. I'm not sure what changed between yesterday afternoon when they informed me that they would complete the installation 'tomorrow'. It seems like they either don't have the necessary inventory to complete the installation, or they're progressing all projects slowly due to a lack of crew. I'll provide an updated rating and review as things progress... Update: I'm now pleased to upgrade my rating to 5 stars. Norwalk Solar really pulled through in the first week of the New Year, upgrading my panels and completing the rest of the installation in a single day. They also arranged for an inspection by the city the following week, and the installation passed without any issues. The city inspector, Terrance, seemed very pleased with the installation. Jude also assisted with the documentation for PG&E PTO (which I had applied for myself), and surprisingly, PG&E approved PTO within a day. Overall, while I was not thrilled that the process extended into the New Year, I am pleased that everything was completed in early January.
