We are extremely happy with our photovoltaic panel installation by Haynes Solar. After doing detailed research, we decided this WNC employee-owned, local business was the best choice for our atypical situation. They were informative every step of the way from planning through the install. The work was done correctly and neatly. All of the employees are professional, competent, and polite. They even cleaned up the work site at the end of each day! All of our questions were answered in detail. The price was fair. The communication was excellent. The job is beautiful. We can highly recommend this group!

M B Haynes installed a solar system with 32 panels on my roof, back up batteries, and a SolArk inverter two years ago. They did a great job and have been fantastic about responding quickly to any problems. I highly recommend them. FYI I am still connected to the grid, but the solar panels contribute to running the house during the day, and at night the batteries run critical loads--well pump, fridge, freezer, a few lights, etc. The batteries also run these "critical loads" if grid power goes off. An app on my phone shows me exactly what's happening at all times with my power. I'm very happy with my new system and happy to be reducing my carbon footprint!

In 2014 I met Russ with Haynes Solar. Solar was new to me. My wife and I looked at proposals, selected Haynes, and put 16 panels on our home. We later added 16 more. In 2015 we asked for proposals and selected Haynes Solar to install 147 panels on our Church. Over the years, l have had the opportunity to work with other Churches, friends, and neighbors who also selected Haynes Solar and Russ as their partner. This year we will install a large Solar system on our Grade School. Out of 3 proposals, Haynes was the lowest cost, with the most powerful panels, and they had the most experience. They have a track record for residential as well as large jobs - they recently won the City/County contract to put Solar on schools, buildings, and libraries. We knew the people and the excellent job they did at our Church. The will be installing the school this year. If you’re considering Solar, go ahead and do it. There’s a 26% Federal Tax Credit in 2022, and Duke gives you a credit for the excess electricity you send back to the grid. Have you ever bought anything that makes money? Solar does. Our panels write us a check every time the sun shines, and will keep doing it for 25 years of warranty. When you are ready to go, give Haynes Solar a call and ask for Russ. He will come out, explain things, and give you a one page quote that you’ll understand. Start making money today as you reduce CO2 and Care for the Earth and your kids and grandkids.
