The property owner where I live, decided to remove street lights, and as the crew was there taking several lights down on this property, I called Holston power to request a light be place on pole 75 feet from my porch. Within a few minutes, the crew removing lights came to me and had our order already and here to put up new security lights over my driveway. Crew lead was named Josh & man in bucket was maybe Joe or John, guys were right on & really efficient workers together, I appreciate & salute those 2 men, thanks to lady at holston office that I spoke to as well

My mother is 72 years old and lives on social security period with no other income and holston electric cut her power off on April 3rd 2025 and demanded she pay a $50 reconnect fee when her check did not even hit the bank til the 3rd they would not even give her til the end of the work day last month bill was over $700 already and the month before was over $500 and this months bill was $530 I think it is totally ridiculous for them to rob our seniors this way and threaten to leave the sitting in the dark without power by cutting there power off on the day they get payed shame on holston electric it is a failure in there leadership and customer support there is not other way to say it but like this they are ripping people off !

Was told to turn my power on for the first time was going to be $425. When I asked why, the women told me she wasn’t allowed to tell me. Don’t I have a right to know? Waiting forever, was then told I can’t be given my internet equipment, they would have to install it. I’ve never heard of that dumb stuff before in my life and I’ve had internet everywhere I lived. So stupid.

I called and spoke with a polite woman to say my power went out! Not even 10 minutes later two technicians informed me they were at my home to assess the situation! Within the next maybe hour my power was on! Always satisfied with the help we receive in person and over the phone!! I will continue to recommend this company!

Followed a truck and trailer down 11 w for almost 30 minutes trash, and debris was flying off of the rig the whole time. We tried flashing our lights and flagging him down, but no luck. It caused us to have to swerve out of the way many times. It also almost caused another vehicle to crash. These ignorant and lazy workers are going to get someone hurt or even worse killed. It's a very bad look for the company, and I sincerely hope whoever insurers this company sees this and raises your rates. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Shame on you Holston electric cooperative.

Our meter was stolen in September and Holston Electric is blaming me and my husband. We are both disabled and can't even walk to where the meter is. They say we still are responsible for the cost of a new meter plus installation and state inspection. We are on a low fixed income and cannot afford the cost so therefore we've had no power since September. I am living with a family member 2-1/2 hours away, missed Thanksgiving with my family and now it looks like I'll be missing Christmas with them too. This Co. is so unwilling to work with us in any way!! Dirty, greedy way of doing business if you ask me!!

At 11am on 12-20-23 at •••0 South Davy Crockett Pkwy Morristown, TN. Mr. Ryans and His crew came out and changed out our power pole and transformer. They did an outstanding and professional job.
