Republic has been spot on for at least the last 5 years. I’ve used them on multiple construction projects each year and never had a problem. My customer rep has been on the job for for years which has added stability and consistency for my account. If she’s not been available, their backup folks have stepped in and met our needs.

Rhonda Emerson is quick to respond to any request that we might have and she periodically checks on us to see if the services that are being rendered are up to our standard . if I were in charge I would put her in charge, just saying!

Republic Services does a great job! I highly recommend their dumpster services. They come when they say they will and are always friendly and professional.

We regularly go weeks without trash pickup and currently, it hasn't been picked up in a month. According to Republic, this is because the code they were given wasn't correct, which doesn't explain how they have, on occasion, picked up our trash. Attempts to contact them on the issue have been met with empty promises about pick ups being scheduled which never come to pass. If you're looking for trash services, I'd look elsewhere.

We have had mediocre service with this company for the 10 years we've been with them (READ YOUR BUSINESS CONTRACTS, PEOPLE!), but it has never been this bad. Even when they did not adhere to their own contract and overcharged us for a year, I wasn't as mad as I am right now.
I am grateful that this is the last month we will be using this company.

We were scheduled for pickup Tuesday. No one came. No one called. I heard nothing. I wondered if it was because of the holiday (Columbus Day). So I called Wednesday to find out, learned we were missed and requested another pickup. I assumed someone would come either Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.

I was incorrect in my assumption. No one came. Well, let me correct that. Someone did come. My cleaning crew came and added even more garbage to the already mostly full container.

Thursday, I called again as we now had garbage outside of the can and were starting to have a collection inside the office as well. Did I mention that this is a medical office? When I called Thursday, I was told that I was scheduled for pickup Friday. No! That is three days after you were supposed to pick up for a business, and I cannot have garbage piling up in my office and around the bin in view of my patients all day Thursday. I explained that we had a lunch meeting that day which meant we would have quite a bit of food garbage and already have no where to put it. The very nice rep (name redacted) I spoke with said she would escalate the pickup and try to get them here asap. She also took my cell number so the Memphis location could call me. Unfortunately for me, I actually answered an unknown local number hoping it was Republic Services. It was a telemarketer; Republic Services never called.

I never saw anyone Thursday by end of business though I was escalated. They said they are coming Friday and I assumed it would be Friday morning due to past pickups, we put out the rest of the garbage that had been collecting in the office.

If that had happened, I wouldn't be writing this.

It is now nearly 11 am Friday morning. I have already called the company and spoken to a young woman (name redacted #2) who apparently believes I have a learning problem. I initially asked to speak with a manager. She asked what was wrong and for the address. I gave her the information and an update. She told me that I was scheduled for pickup today because my normal truck had mechanical issues Tuesday. Ok. First I'm hearing of mechanical issues, but honestly, I don't care. That is Republic Services problem, not mine. My problem is the garbage I have that I have PREPAID your company to come get.

I told the rep that I know I was scheduled for pickup Friday as I was told yesterday, but I was also told my issue would be escalated. And it IS Friday. My garbage is still here. Can she tell me what time they are supposed to come? My cleaning crew comes again today.

She said no. They are supposed to come Friday. Since I knew they are coming Friday, what else do I need her to do?

While I cannot convey the patronizing tone she exuded, feel free to use your imagination. I am a well educated woman and learned how a calendar works while in kindergarten. I understand that I am "scheduled for pickup today. It's still Friday."

What I don't understand is how a company will just ignore it's own schedule, ignore a customer's requests when it's the company's fault the problem exists, make no attempt to get an actual ETA in an attempt to appease a customer, or bother to let me speak to a manager when requested.

I debated loading my personal vehicle full of the garbage that's flowed out of the bin and driving to the local business office and dropping it off but decided that would be unprofessional (though cathartic). Instead, I'm going to post this on every review site I can find so people can see the true quality of your services.

And when November 1st comes, I will rejoice as the bin leaves my site.

I have not been with this company long, not even a year but it has been awful. They would miss my route and not communicate the reason. They do not pick up anything outside of the can. However, above my trash being ignored several times my final straw was when they emptied my can and a bag fell out to the ground and instead of them picking up their mess…. They drove over the bag and kept going!!!! How nasty!!! Me or neighbors do not deserve that!!! Every time I have called for a manager in the past I would have to wait for a call back and it never happened!!! So this time I requested a manager (knowing no one would call) No one called!!! I canceled my services for the future. No one works hard for their money to pay someone for a below average very poor job. They charge too much not be professional.

Republic Services are one of the best companies in the business!! I'm truly thankful for the relationship we have built to ensure our company has a safe and enjoyable to place to work by eliminating our waste. Anytime I call Brittany(King), she is attentive and always willing to help at a moments notice. She is truly a great asset for the company and I'm thankful for her work with New Millennium Building Systems.

Using Republic Services has been very easy for many years. I can just text Rhonda, my account rep, and the dumpster is normally delivered the next day. If I have special requests as to the location, RI is always careful to make sure the placement is correct. I normally request that Melvin Cole be the driver. Melvin is especially careful to make sure the job is done correctly. They are bringing a 30 yard dumpster to one of my jobs this coming week.
