I had 3 yards of painted brown mulch delivered to my house. I laid out a 16’x20’ tarp on my driveway for them to drop the mulch. THEY MISSED THE TARP! I had 4’ on the backside with mulch on the bumper of my vehicle and 3’ on the side. That’s too much extra work for me because of their mishap. This stuff will stain your concrete. I called and talked to one of their ladies and she was not apologetic at all. She acted like I was bothering her by taking a couple of minutes of her time. She said “I can’t really do anything about this. What do you want me to do?” I told her, “do better!” Act like you care! I realized she was not very effective at “customer service” and certainly not empowered enough to make any kind of offering or compensation for a service that I paid for and didn’t receive. The mulch itself looks nice but the delivery and the customer service needs guidance.

Three years ago, I bought a pickup truck load of garden soil from them for a new raised bed garden spot. It wasn't cheap. When I was unloading it, I noticed that it had a very strong odor; it smelled like creosote. Everything that I planted in that garden bed died, while the rest of my garden thrived. I hoped it was a fluke and planted that bed again the next spring. Unfortunately, I had the same results. The plants all died again. So I was out the cost of the bad soil, and two year's worth of plants. I called but no one answered the phone. I left a message on their website, but no one called back. My advice to you is if you want dirt, go buy it somewhere else.
UPDATE: I DID CALL and I DID WRITE. Implying that I am a liar is not going to help anything. The garden soil I purchased from you was tainted with something. Somebody threw something into the shredder that should not have been there. It smelled like a phone pole! The plants I tried to grown in your soil would sprout, but were slow to grow, stunted, and then shriveled and died no matter how much I babied them. I had many other garden beds that were fine. I do know how to grow vegetables. I tried adding lots of stuff to it to make it better (cow manure, worm castings, peat moss, organic fertilizers, etc.) and the plants still died. Nothing worked. I finally had to dig all the soil out of the bed with a shovel and replace it. Your snarky reply only makes me less likely to ever shop with you again. PS: Pine is probably not a good idea.
