Jessie has been doing my hair for over 10 years, and honestly, I wouldn't trust anyone else! She's seriously amazing at what she does. Not only does she give the best cuts and colors, but she's also always on top of the latest trends. So, I know my hair is always gonna look fresh and stylish.

Another thing I love about Jessie is that she uses the best products. Seriously, her salon has stuff I haven't seen anywhere else around here. My hair has never been healthier, and I get so many compliments on how shiny and healthy it looks!

But it's not just about the amazing hair – Jessie is also just a really cool person. Her salon has such a chill and welcoming vibe, and she always takes the time to listen to what I want. She's become more than just my stylist; she's a great friend!

If you're looking for someone who's talented, knows their stuff, and makes you feel super comfortable, Jessie is your girl! You won't regret it.

Run, do not walk to see Angie!!! She is absolutely the best! I’ll try to make a long story short. On 2/7/25 I had my hair done by a stylist at a different salon I had never been before. I left the day of feeling discouraged because it wasn’t close to what I wanted. I thought, oh I can live with it. I realized a few days later how bad it was when I started to style it myself. I started searching places that do color correction and called Alter Ego. They have been nothing short of amazing from the first call on 2/10/25. I let them know what had happened and later that day spoke with Angie. She was able to get me scheduled for 2/14/25. Angie is the best stylist! I went from wearing a hat to loving my hair again thanks to her. The blend is nothing but utter perfection. I was in tears, happy tears!!! Not only did she do amazing with my hair, but made a bad situation good. She is the sweetest, most friendly stylist I have ever encountered. I cannot wait to go back in 8 weeks. I am honestly glad that I had to have the color correction. If I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have found my stylist for life. Thanks again Angie! You are truly the best! Jessie is absolutely wonderful. She's been coloring and cutting my hair for at least 8 years now. She's super knowledgeable and definitely knows her stuff. I have very coarse curly hair and she makes me look like a million bucks every time I'm there. No one has ever been able to make my hair look so sleek, smooth, healthy and with such beautiful color. I always look forward to going to see her and all the staff at the salon. Everyone is so warm, friendly and highly trained in all aspects of hair. I especially love that Jessie always shows me the latest colors & styles so I can change up my look for different seasons if i want. Just an overall awesome place to go. Jessie, you and your staff are truly the best around.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! I researched a ton before making my appointment with Jessie. At my appointment, I knew right away I was in great hands. Jessie is very professional and knowledgeable. She listened to what I wanted, gave me plenty of options, and then put a plan in motion. She knocked it out of the park! She did an amazing job highlighting and getting the brassy yellow out of my hair, color matching my new extensions, blending, and styling. I felt like a new woman after she was done with me. The extra touches in the salon really were top notch, such as the infrared lighting that promotes hair growth, the scalp massage, hot towel, beverages, and hand massage. It was all so pampering. I truly look forward to my next appointment. And the entire team was so welcoming and had such an fun energy right when I walked in the door. Highly recommend!

The costs of this appointment was over $429.00 dollars. The owner left the bottom half of my hair in foils for over 2.5 hours and the top back part of my hair was clipped up and highlighted for only thirty minutes.
After showing another hair stylist with 30 years experience I was told the bottom and sides of my hair was blown out and over processed bc of the foils were left in for more than 2.5 hours and top part of the back of my hair was under processed bc the top part was in foils for 30 minutes causing brassy highlights.
Could the under processing and over processing be a result from owner juggling three other hair coloring appointments while highlighting my hair having two other stylists (one stylist with less than a year experience) jumping in and out of the highlighting process asking questions not knowing what to do, and another stylist asking the owner what end result she was expecting on my hair at the wash bowl, then charging $429.00? This entire process alone took from 3:45 to 7:45. If she would stuck to foiling my hair it would have taken 1/2 of the time and allowed my hair to process evenly.
I came in the salon with virgin hair with my natural color that had no developer on it for over two years.
I was in the salon from 3:45 to 7:45 and paid a total of over $500.00 with tip. The only reason I tipped is bc of the two girls who helped her juggle all her appointments booked to close together and had been in the salon 12 hrs.

I contacted the owner the next morning and said I was not happy, owner said my hair was not in the right condition? My question is why leave developer in my hair for more than 2.5 hours then, while juggling three other clients? Owner is trying to say it was bc I had box dye in my hair which was NOT accurate. I used professional temporary color once in two years on a small area by the temples of my head for few grey hairs.
The owner also accused me of being threatening and discriminating. WHAT? Threatening to expose a bad experience?

This was not a professional experience at all and cost over $500 with tip. My hair feels like straw from being left in foils for 2.5 hours. I asked for refund and told the owner I would be publicly posting this experience to warn others. I told her to give the $90.00 tip to the other two stylists. Now I am “threatening” according to the owner. I am 62 years old and know when exactly what happened!

I have never written a bad review for any business being a business owner myself.

Owner took pictures of me without my permission when I explicitly told her I did not want my picture taken! I have been in a professional business for thirty eight years and don’t want photos of me in foils circulating on cellphones or in a salon.

I paid $429 for color and cut, $89.00 tip and $135 retail I would state the stylist who did the majority of the work had less than one year of experience which is fact NOT discrimination.

Got my extentions moved up on 04/06/2025 by Courtney and she did a wonderful job! As a hairstylist I am picky about where I go and who puts color on my hair. Courtney communicates well and always brings my vision to life! With a busy schedule and always on the road I never have a problem with them moving. I’ll see you in 6 weeks Courtney!

I absolutely love Alter Ego! I get my hair done with Angie and also bring my daughter here. I’ve been seeing Angie since I moved here in July of 24 . Angie is kind, caring, talented, humble and encouraging. She is a beautiful person. Something about her just makes you feel better about yourself. Obviously because she’s an amazing hair stylist, but she also has heart and builds people up. The salon is beautiful, clean, and cool. I love Angie, but all of the stylist at Alter Ego are awesome. The guest services staff are also always friendly and attentive.
