This is filters out of my reverse osmosis the first one is black and white the black one is settlement after the flood white one is what it should look like.
This water is not fit to drink, raw sewage all sorts of chemicals just look at the photos sickening they should have to supply people with bottled water.

It is hard to say nice things about a company like this. They're almost a monopoly on the power grid. The power is out constantly. They cheated the entire county out of high speed internet.Yet, they're board members are getting raises on the regular. I had a friend thinking about moving here from out of town. He asked me about the Internet and Utilities. I told him to Google the company, and he was shocked at what you can find.

If you read reviews, you can see that they don't communicate well either. They definitely don't make their customers feel like a priority a lot of the time.

Now, you can read that as one of two reasons. They either are not responsible and flake on a lot of things, while forgetting constantly. OR there's reasons everything is quiet and dark. Certain people and circumstances would prefer a lack of information. So, they can manipulate that info as they wish. Given their history and lack of communication, I couldn't tell you what is going on.

NU just informed me there is a 20$ fee per month, a fee just to be connected to the public power grid. So each year we pay more in fees than actual electrical usage. Additionally in a 6 year span they have not added any internet out past Grass Fork Elementary. The install crew cut my main power cable going to the panel from the transformer instead of checking the conduit for wire first. You think that was a cheap to replace it was not. NU didn't even bother to inform us or correct the problem. They cut the wire, yes mistakes happen, not to inform or even attempt to repair it seems like criminal negligence, well it's definitely negligence.

I can't believe this company gets away with what they do, and how little they care about customers. They have gone viral for wrongly billing a man 3,000$ and I hope they get shut down because of it! Absolutely terrible, criminals

They came past the "30 ft" clearance and killed our garden with the poison they are spraying under the power lines. We've spent $100's trying to restore the native plants and wildflowers on our property. This is so upsetting.

The people are mostly friendly minus a few who literally scream at you when you pull over to try and quiet a baby crying because you have no where else to pull over but you're not there for the electric company so you need to move or get the cops called. Also getting things done is nearly impossible. Been waiting on getting power for months and still no luck. Calling and actually talking to a person is also nearly impossible.

My light bill is all most doubled, I'm a disabled person caring for a 84 yr old and my usage is the same, feeding ourselves will be very hard and less we talk about the hurricane.

As a homeowner and customer, I was working on putting a utility easement in place on my property that was necessary for a water meter, and needed simple guidance from NU, especially the New Construction Dept. We just needed to know what they were looking for in terms of language in the easement document. Listen, their game, their rules. Just tell us what you need. I literally called the manager every day for a week, and my attorney also left this individual several messages during this time frame. The phone was never answered, and the polite messages that we both left were NEVER returned. Ultimately, my attorney was forced to physically go down to the NU office and get a face to face (drop-in) meeting in order to get a simple directive on what was needed. Listen, NOBODY is so busy that a simple phone call, something that's part and parcel of their job description, couldn't have been made over the span of a week. This is disrespectful, terrible customer service, and pretty much dereliction of duty. NU, and this New Construction Dept manager, certainly have their nerve. I'm new to the area, but after reading some of the other review comments here, it seems like this level of customer service is a trend with this organization. I'd say that there are people at NU who need to be replaced by individuals who instead are capable of effectively performing the job.
