My electric bills were getting out of control, so I started looking at solar roofs. I had reached out to several companies to understand their products, installation, warranty and cost. Will, from Greenway Solar, was by far the best. From my very first call with him, I knew Will was passionate about solar and how he valued taking care of his customers. He made a great presentation that gave me all the information I was looking for. He had answers to all the concerns I had about a solar roof. He put my mind at ease, and I was convinced that Greenway Solar was the right partner for my solar project. Will’s solar design did not utilize any of the north facing roof surfaces while still giving me 110% of the energy I need to eliminate electric bills. This was unlike all the other companies (including two national) that had designs that used some of the north facing roof surfaces while still not giving me the total power I needed. Bottom line, Will’s proposal had the best design, materials, warranty and cost. The installers, Judy and the team, were very professional as well. Judy was very particular about the installation process. She cared deeply about the quality of work. Overall, I have had nothing but a great experience working with Will and the team. I highly recommend Greenway Solar.

Don't you like when a plan comes together? I know I do. I had called Green Way Solar and spoke to Will. He put a proposal together and we met at his Manheim office. I can be a visual type of person, so seeing some of the equipment at his office was helpful. If you go there check out the solar modules he uses for table tops. The meeting was very informative, educational, and personable, something that you don't come across that often. I was impressed. Once we decided to go with Green Way Solar, Will kept us in the loop of what progress was being made, weather it was an email or a phone call. No surprises, we knew what was going to happen next. When it was time to install the system, George and Judy, Will's employees, showed up and got to work. They had a metal standing seam roof to mount the REC solar modules to. No holes in the roof, just clamps biting onto the standing seam made by SnapNRack. The complete process of obtaining a solar array went smoothly. We are glad that we used Will and his team at Green Way Solar. They put my plan together. I wanted a solar and Will and his team made it happen. Just trust them and you will see your plan come together too. We have been producing electricity for less than a week and all is going well.
1/1/2025- It's past time for an update. When Will and his employees installed the solar array, our home already had a ground source heat pump, which is 100% electric. The combining of the heat pump and solar array has created a net positive home, meaning we are producing more than we consume. Here are the #'s from the last 2 years:
2023 production- 15.4 MWh
consumption- 6.0 MWh
2024 production- 14.7 MWh
consumption- 6.57 MWh, 4.27 MWh from the grid and 2.3 MWh from solar. Green Way Solar was not my original solar installer. I had a very bad experience with my original installer. (Sunny Mac out of Delaware) After extensive frustration with Sunny Mac, I reached out to Will at Green Way Solar. Wow! What a blessing. I wish I had found Green Way Solar sooner. Awesome communication. You can tell he definitely cares about his customers. You can't go wrong with Green Way Solar!

William and his team were great from start to finish. we are so happy with our solar panels. we love the app that goes us real time data on how much power we are generating and using. All went very smoothly. thank you Will for a great job.

They went the extra distance (literally mileage as well) and made the effort to come to our rescue and trouble shoot our problems with our solar panels that have not been working correctly for over 6 months! Within a week after receiving the necessary equipment we were up and running 100% and they are continually monitoring our panels in case of future issues. I would strongly recommend them for their reliability, promptness, responses to our questions and updates through the entire process.

My install did not go as planned. Having a ground mount installed into very rocky soil added an unexpected setback, but the team at Green Way Solar was able to keep things rolling and were able to adapt and get my system installed in a timely fashion. They were professional, affordable, and you get a lot more care going with a smaller company as you will find. I had a small problem come up (not from them but from the power company detaching something) and Will was out there two days later fixing it for me, wasn't even the panels themselves just my monitoring system. Great service, and will use them again when I get a battery and possibly future panels. 10/10 would recommend.

The owner is VERY knowledgeable and extremely honest. He was well prepared with our quote and even understanding when we missed our first appointment and needed to reschedule. He was very candid with us about the system that would truly be beneficial to us, even though he would have been able to sell more units. The money in solar is in new installations and the most expensive equipment; Mr Stahlman was quite frank about that. This kind of integrity is rare in any business, but even more so in the solar game. I would recommend this company to anyone considering solar because they have a custom service, they are prepared to keep their systems running according to guarantees, and they do not try to up-sell.
