Landlord / Homeowners are DENIED water usage data in the event of a leak according to customer support "POLICY".

SBUD hangs a green notice on your door claiming that there "might" be a water leak but provides no actual water usage evidence to back it up.... wasting every ones time looking for a leak that may or may not exist.

Had to go in to the office to get a leak adjustment and the office staff was incredibly helpful and courteous. They did everything they could to help within their means. They took time to answer my questions and made sure I understood everything about the process. Feeling so thankful they have the staff they do!

Always getting my bill in about 8-9 days. A real hassle to make
payment on time. They didn't even have the courtesy to respond to my letter to management for help.
Of course their is merit in being a monopoly company -- you don't have to care.

I help en elderly woman with getting her bill payed electronically. I had her set up on auto pay and they changed something on their site and dropped the auto pay off. I reset it up and I guess it was past the day they withdrew so it wasn't payed? Shut the ladies water off after being two days over due. Come on just take your money and leave their water on. You have a faulty payment system.

Called them in March because of a water leak at my meter, they said they were busy but would send someone out. About @ months later, I seen a gentleman from the water company outside so I went and ask him. He said he didn`t know about it but he would look at it. He told me it was on there side of the meter, he would start a work order. Waiting 2 more months and called, they said they were busy but would get there as soon as they could. Called again last week, now they say it is on my side, its my problem, not there`s. I have paid extra for almost a year and my last bill went up almost 100.00 more than normal. If I would have know it was on my side, I would have had it fixed, now they say they can`t see the old work order so there is nothing they can do. Guess that`s a good way to get out of helping a customer that has been with them over 35 years. Not good business, if you screwded up, admit it and go on. Don`t try to blame someone else for your mistake

I moved to this water district July 1st, I was with the city of Maryville, my water/sewer portion of the bill was average over a 5 yr period $22.00, With South Blunt the same amount of water from last bill from City of Maryville, I paid $24.00, my bill from South Blount is & $70.00 for 2500 gal of water/sewer. This is robbery.

I’ve lived in several different counties and states and this company is by far the absolute worst I have ever had the unfortunate chance to deal with. They have the attitude of “we’re the only water company that services this area so we do what we want when we want.” I would rather sell my home and live in an apartment that to live in a home that they service. Have had several issues that could’ve been resolved in a matter of literal minutes, that I would have to wait days or even weeks for.
