My Solar just completed the final check of our newly installed solar energy system and we couldn't be happier. We stopped at their booth at the home show in Santa Fe and within a week the owner was at our house evaluating our electricity use and the possibility of adding panels to our roof.

We had already spoken to two other companies and Eddie impressed us with his indepth knowledge of the science of solar power conversion (my spouse is a physicist with the energy dept). I called his references and his previous customers confirmed our initial feeling of his trustworthiness. His quote was also a little less than the big solar company.

It was four months from the quote to producing energy. My Solar kept us informed every step of the process via email. The delay is due to the city permitting and approval from the power company. My Solar had the engineering plans completed within two weeks of us signing the contract and, once the power company gave clearance, My Solar was on our roof within days and installed the system in 6 or 7 hours. The workers were professional and courteous. My Solar made all the appointments with the city inspectors and the power company to add the meters.

Just today we started producing energy!

Isaac was our sales rep but he tracked our job, responded to City permitting delays, followed-up on our closing paperwork and final approval. Isaac is not your ordinary sales person. He is there for you through all the steps of the install and completion. He is thorough, conscientious and kind. Our experience with MySolar was successful because of Isaac's attention to our job.

Met Isaac Ketcham at Santa Fe Ace Hardware last spring and discussed possible solar install. He scheduled a visit, had his My solar team do and analysis and wrote up a proposal. He was very thorough and made sure we understood what the advantages were and how long it would take for our project to pay off. After installation we had a minor problem and Isaac made sure that it was resolved and everything is working great.

I did my due diligence before choosing which company I wanted to use to install solar panels. Took my time. The initial contact was important, there was a difference between sale representatives pushing for more expensive systems and flaunting their relationships with PNM or State regulators as a sale tactic and smaller local companies for whom each sale is important and personal. I chose the second route acknowledging that problems might arise from supply chain constraints and smaller inventories. In the end this issue added a few weeks to the timeline.
Eddy Standefer gave us a knowledgeable presentation, answered all the questions, scientific and commercial to our satisfaction, never pressured us and gave personal attention all through the process. The installation looks great, unobtrusive -Eddy made sure that the aesthetics were taken into account. Sarah, in the office handles all the paperwork and again she held my hand through the process going above and beyond her duties. In the end we have a really good system, everything working perfectly and the tax rebate from the state organized within less than a month of finishing the project- adding that the State office was also efficient and helpful. I would recommend MySolar above any other company in New Mexico.
