This is the best trainer ! I have a 3 yr German shepherd. He is very unique situation, purchased from Europe . He arrived with no command list , rob helped me figure out which language my dog’s commands were taught in . They then fixed all the training that had been done poorly in Europe . I did bi weekly training sessions where he taught me how to handle my dog . Then he took my dog for 11 weeks and finished his training . He continues to watch my dog whenever I go on vacation. This is a dependable business who will not take advantage of you ! I’d trust them with my own learning and my dog any day.

I would recommend Hanlons k9 to anyone. Not only are they the best trainers they are the best people. They genuinely care about your dog. I have been training my Australian Shepard with them for almost two years now and they have taught me so much and I truly appreciate the work they have put into my dog and she loves getting to go there and hang out with everyone there!

We go to Hanlon K9 with our 1 year old crazy Dutch shepherd 3x a week. He loves the trainers there and we never have to worry when boarding him for a few nights.

We also did private training with our 8 year old lab and whenever I say “want to go see Rob” he gets so excited and runs to the front door!

We love it here!
We’ve learnt so much for almost 7 months training with them.
They know what they are doing and give you the tools to work with your dog, based on your dog’s needs and yours.

I can’t say enough good things about Hanlon’s. We took our first female corgi here 4 years ago and did several weeks of basic puppy training. I was skeptical of the prong collar in the beginning, but having a smart & sassy dog, I quickly learned that this was a safe tool when used correctly, which helped us properly communicate with our dog and correct unwanted behavior. She is very well trained, friendly and social.
We got a second rescue female corgi in March of 2023, who began resource guarding my husband and I in July. The dogs began fighting daily and we feared they would never be able to be near each other again. We took our dogs back to Hanlon’s for private training where we worked with Jesse and Rob on ways to safely have them around each other, build their relationship back and end the guarding behavior. Our dogs are currently back together in our house and have stopped resource guarding and fighting. We know we must keep working at their relationship but right now, you would never know they had issues together. We are so very thankful for everything we have learned from Hanlon’s over the years. I highly highly recommend these guys, they know their dogs, are friendly and make dog training fun and easier to understand! And my dogs love going here too 🙂

Hanlon’s K9 has been a godsend! Just over 3 years ago we took the dive into Malinois ownership. Had we not found Hanlon’s the two Mals and I would be kicked out of our home!

On a serious note, the staff/trainers are top notch. They are up to date on all training techniques and more importantly their combined over 50 yrs of experience lends to adaptability for any dog temperament and any environment! If you are like me and have working dogs that need the right training Hanlon’s K9 is the place!

If you have a pet dog that needs proper obedience, Hanlon’s K9 is the place. If you have temperament problems or environmental problems, Hanlon’s is the place.

Definitely give their team a chance. They will definitely do your dog right!

This place is horrible and abusive to animals. They keep dogs caged up outside in the freezing cold alone for hours and hours. As training motivation they use cheap hot dogs and ultra processed American cheese, filled with nitrates and chemicals that cause canine cancer. The facility is filthy and there is zero positive reenforcement. If you love dogs do not go here and tell all of your friends to stay away.

My four year old dog has attended training classes at this facility. He also spends time there when we go on vacation. He has special medical needs and receives his medication while there. He is always excited to go there and play with the trainers and other dogs. Thank you for treating him well.
