Terrible communication and customer service. My first time setting up service with them and they didn’t give me my account number that I needed to pay the setup fee with online. Cancelled my service without notifying me at all. Had to call them of course to get the account number. Made the payment like they asked and called in the next morning to make sure they got it but they told me they couldn’t come out today because it wasn’t made the day before before 5pm. Was not told there was a certain time before it had to be made. They finally came out a day later or else I would’ve had to pay them more for a same day service fee. Also they would not light my wall heaters because they “don’t like them”. Horrible experience for my first time setting up service with them.

While installing a new gas line, summit utilities ( company now taking over for center point) may have made a hole in my sewer line. They came over to check for the yellow gas line in my sewer line, but a soft muddy blockage made it too dark to see with their camera. After they scared me, I paid to clear the soft blockage but they never returned to complete the investigation. I was told they would be back between 8 am and 8 pm on Thursday and then on Tuesday (scheduled appointments). I waited by the window patiently but they never came. The soft blockage might be back now and the line must be fixed. Will Summit take responsibility for the repairs? I will take pictures, file a claim, and hope for the best.

The worst, centrepoint was far better.

They showed up with a 300 dollar surprise bill and my gas will be shut off tomorrow if not paid in full. Guess it's time for electric heating and stocking up on butter.

I just recieved the biggest bill of my entire 32 years life .from this company today .I don't even turn on my gas nor heat but the most ridiculous bill came to my mail,and then as usual they state in the paper to contact the apartment manager who would then say that's what the company requires them to do .Isn't this the most ridiculous billing thing. PLEASE I NEED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THIS HORRIBLE BILLL

Terrible! They turned off my gas on a day that was below freezing for the low. It was the day of the past bill being due and I didn’t even have the chance to pay before they shut it off and added on $50 more dollars in fees to even turn it back on

Horrible communication and horrible customer service.
3 days to get me gas for heat in the middle of winter even after taking my money to turn on service and waiting on the edge of my seat for their technician to show up. I thought Centerpoint was bad. Nothing has changed for the better.

Horrific customer service. I have been waiting for a deposit for close to a year after paying a final bill. Now I am hearing that a deposit was never collected on the account and no one seems to know where the deposit has gone. A complete scam of a company.
