The service started going downhill about 2 weeks ago for us. They skipped my street on a Wednesday but called and assured they would come Saturday. They lied and didn't come Saturday nor any other make-up day. They finally came a week later on the usual trash pickup day which means I didn't have trash picked up for 2 whole weeks. Here we are again one week later today For the 2nd time they skipped my street. I have no more room in my trash can for anything else. I cannot go another day without pickup let alone another week. There will be trash bags all over the ground around the trash can if you wait another week so expect a big mess when you finally get here.

Based off other reviews it looks like we are not alone in our issue. Amwaste discontinued our autopay on their end and removed our trash can when the payment we had established no longer worked. I had to reconnect autopay and request a new trash can multiple times. It has been 21 days (14 business days) and still NO TRASH CAN! This is more than frustrating, especially because I have seen their truck in our neighborhood collecting more trash cans and still not delivering one to us. Why does it take over three weeks to deliver a can?

You pay your bill in full and it still takes two weeks before they pick up the garbage. Poor poor poor customer service! They are more concerned about getting your payment than making sure the streets are not overflowing with garbage. They only come pick up half the time as it is then they make you wait instead of sending out another truck. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Horrible HORRIBLE service. Been living at my home in Pinson AL for about a year now and I’ve had to call EVERY SINGLE WEEK just to get told the same thing over and over again that they’ll pick it up the day of the service and that they’ll send the complaint to a supervisor which they obviously never do. This is unacceptable. Trash gets picked up ONCE A MONTH.

Does anyone know another company I can switch to? I have always had my payment took out of my bank account, they changed something and didn’t take it out and I didn’t realize, so when they pick up my can and they explain to me they stopped the automatic draft out of my account, I paid and they told me I would have my can back with in 2 weeks, once that day came they didn’t bring me a can , they changed my date to get a can 4 times and I was out of a can for 6 weeks. They will not credit the time I didn’t have a can. I had to call every week for 6 weeks before I got a can, and was left on hold for over an hour each time I called . They say I only called 4 times and I only waited 2 weeks. That’s not true . This company take your money and doesn’t give you the service you pay for . Hard to get them on the phone takes over an hour to talk to someone each time . They say they will have a manager call you back but they don’t ever call.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This company has horrific service and is to the point that they steal from their customers and no one is holding them accountable. I prepay for each quarter of residential trash pick up and the past quarter, they did not pick up my trash 1/3 of the time! I paid for 100% of service yet only received partial service with no credit. This does not include the almost weekly late pickups (days late) or when they dumped my trash can in the garbage truck and did not file a report to replace it. Reaching a representative from this company is an enormous hassle! Wait times are a minimum of one hour and online messages are not returned. Wish someone would hold this company accountable for their lack of service!
