We initially saved money with the unlimited plan but after the 3 month contract ended, the plan reverted to a regular per-usage charge. We got a bill for $800 (!?) when we were literally out of town for 3 weeks, kept the heat at 68, and unplugged almost all appliances. Turns out they are charging 2.5-3x more per kW than fair market rate offered by other companies. Do NOT use this shady company.

I had no issues with the service. The first three months of my six month plan basically had me paying what I paid with my original supplier. The last three months I was paying more than I previously had. Part of the issue is while you may be paying less for Astral to supply the electricity, you still have to pay your generation costs to your electric company. Again, no problems with Astral, I just personally didn't save any money.

SCAM!!! I applied for their unlimited energy package that they offer, waited over a week to get a response. Not only did I not get the unlimited energy quote but they tried to send me a contract for a 3-month fixed rate almost double what I am currently paying. They try to say one thing and then secretly change the deal on you. Super Shady business. I do have 6 months of energy bills, so don't know why they wouldn't ask for it instead of doing a bait and switch.

I switched to Astral Energy 2 years ago and have been very pleased with their fixed price approach to electricity pricing. They provide a six month agreement with pricing adjustments in 3 month increments. No surprises, and definitely eliminates big swings in monthly bills due to change over from heating to cooling seasons. I highly recommend.

Very unethical. Signed my small business up and received 5-10% savings per month vs BGS (basic generation service from JCP & L) for a year. In November rate doubled vs JCP&L. In December went up another 20% on top, now nearing $2000.00 for the month. Called Astral to cancel, they said they could not because I was "commercial". Asked for a supervisor, nobody available. They said somebody would call me but could not tell me when. This is a classic bait and switch. Avoid at all costs.

I have had great success with them. They gave me a great introductory rate and are keeping that rate with the next contract. They have very tentative service and are extremely helpful. I am hoping to be a very long-term customer. I would recommend to a family member or friend.

I just signed up with Astral Energy so called unlimited plan and my bill nearly TRIPLED. They neglected to really say how this plan worked. I just cancelled them only after 2 months and they charge me a cancellation fee. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone, unless they want to be gouged. Smartest move was canceling them. STAY AWAY!!!!!
