When you finally get tired of the bill going up every 6 months or so, and decide to cancel service, they will send you a bill for $150 for a $30 booster that you never ordered or got. I will go without internet before I ever use this thieving company again.

Wow is the worse internet service EVER created! I would not recommend them to ANYONE! My service goes out everyday at least 2-3 times. I am so tired of having to restart my box. PLEASE anyone out there looking to get Wow, do yourself a HUGE favor and DONT! DO NOT PUT THE STRESS ON YOUR LIFE, it isn’t worth it. And please Wow don’t reply under my review saying you’re sorry, the only thing that is sorry about you guys is your services.

We turned off our service on October 13 and the lady with whom we spoke verified that the service would end on the 13th. Now we’ve received a partial bill because the service was not turned off until the 19th. Called a representative and the representative told me there was nothing we could do and that we had to pay the bill. So beware before you use this company. You will be charged when you turn off your service, it’s just an illegal tax that this company collects from every customer when you leave. ALWAYS had terrible service after the merger.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Had them for a year now because there’s hardly any other providers for my address. Signed up for internet alone and on my first bill was charged for a phone, cable, and internet plan they upgraded me to on their own. Had to sit on hold for an hour to get it changed to what I originally signed up for. Can’t login to my online account and have to pay over the phone every month. I’ve called multiple times about this and they never correct anything. My plan states I would receive 500 download speeds and every time I’ve ran my own speed tests at home they never get above 50 and again, can’t get anywhere with them on this issue either. TERRIBLE company and customer service.

Wow is right! Wow could your customer service be any worse? I work for a business where our internet access is crucial. We put Wow on auto pay and the bill has been being deducted from our checking account for months with no problem. This morning we had no service, we called and we had been cut off for not paying. For some reason the charge did not go through. We have hundreds of charges/checks hit our account in a months time and we have never had any issues. If our payment was rejected why didn't they just call us to let us know? We are on auto pay so even if they mailed us a bill it might not have been reviewed, because we don't pay them from their bill! That is the point of auto pay!

I've never had worse customer service than with this company. I recently moved to a new area and wanted to sign up with them since their prices were lower, scheduled an install and everything to be in the morning. Two hours past my scheduled time I tried to call, but the store is shut down, and the service line is a joke. I tried to use the live chat but they closed it before helping me. After about an hour and half I finally got someone who could help me on the phone and she was confused as to why no one showed up as well. She later came back and told me that they randomly canceled my install without telling me, she asked to speak with their supervisor and they wouldn't let her. THEY JUST DECIDED THEY DIDN'T WANT TO COME OUT AND NEVER LET ME KNOW!!!!! Needless to say Spectrum earned a new customer that day. Guess I know why they are so cheap now.

What happened to the customer service? It used to be good compared to Charter, and now it may even be worse. They obviously "outsourced" the call center, and now it takes at least a 30 minute phone call to do anything. They keep saying it will only take a minute, and then it is as though they must be helping 5 other people before coming back to you. If the issue isn't fixed with more than typical troubleshooting (rebooting, etc), then they want to schedule an appointment even when they caused the issue! I had this experience with 3 separate phone calls over a 2 day period. The only saving grace is that their cable and internet don't go down as often as Charter.

The absolute worst service entity I've ever had to deal with. They charge you a good rate your first year and then increase the amount and give you a bandwidth that competes with boost mobile. You make a call to customer service and they " reset the router" says your Mbps is better. Which it is for all of 5 minutes and then you just deal with the problem because you can't stand to wait on hold for 40 minutes on average. Bad service run by worse IT personal.
