I had a system installed this year. Everything went fine with install but the subcontractor who did the install decided to downsize the system which I agreed to and Apollo was supposed to refund thousands of dollars for the difference. I have been ghosted. I can't get anyone on the phone, the person who was handling my account told me not to contact them again via the number they had given me to contact them. I've tried BBB filings and they ignored them. They've stolen thousands of dollars from me and I can't do anything about it.

Anyone considering doing business with Apollo Energy should steer clear. My company, Insulwise Energy & Comfort Solutions, is based in Pa and is initiating a lawsuit against them for lack of payment for insulation work done for a mutual customer. These guys seem sharp and sophisticated on the surface, and they seem to understand solar, but when people who owe you thousands of dollars stop returning your calls and emails --- there is a SERIOUS problem.
If this is how they treat their subcontractors -- who do you expect to show up to your home to install solar panels, do the roofing work, etc? You would be smart to expect that level of fraudulent treatment to extend throughout the organization. Look at the other recent reviews from mid July onward. Where there is smoke with a company there is usually fire. Be smart and find a solar company that is actually reputable. To the guys at Apollo -- do the right thing and reach out to Andy at Insulwise for settling up. I understand that things often happen when you're in business and it's not too late to salvage your reputation.

Apollo Energy sold me a system about a year ago at this point. The company they hired (Suntuity) to install the system was absolute garbage, the workman ship was terrible, they were sloppy, and left at the end of the day with no word on if the installation was complete or if they would be coming back to finish. They left garbage everywhere, screws and metal clips, they even left tools behind. I have little kids that play on my deck where a lot of this stuff was left, they had no professionalism at all. Once the installation was finally complete we failed inspection TWICE for the same issue ( a loose wire that needs to be tucked back into the channel). After the second failed inspection Apollo Energy's contractor Suntuity completely ghosted us. I tried emailing and calling Joshua, the rep that sold us the system and got no response at all. I finally found a number to call that had a real person on the other end. I was informed that Joshua was no longer with the company and that she would have to find someone to help me. A few days go by and a finally got a call from Tim. He said he would be looking into things for us. Apollo Energy passed the issue off to the finance company and washed there hands of the whole thing. I have had solar panels on my roof for about a year now and they still aren't hooked up because no one will come out and put a wire in place. I have a bad taste in my mouth for Apollo Energy and the entire solar panel community at this point. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

I scheduled a consultation over Google meet after receiving a cold call. I tried joining the meeting for 20 minutes, no one ever joined so it's safe to say my business will go elsewhere.

I was harassed by a fake Claude AI bot for over an hour with no way to opt out. The bot started giving me fake websites as shown in the screenshot. I’m not sure if that’s even legal? Shady business practices, I would avoid.

Informative and thorough from start to finish. The crew that came to my house and installed the system got it done quickly and professionally.

The absolute worst company ever. They scam their employees out of money and they sell their jobs to rip off the customers. Please don’t do business with them no matter what they tell you. You’ve been warned….
