My experience was horrible. Two people came to my house offering these services. I paid $137 for my energy and now I paid $227 with this company. Don't fall for the scam and don't accept anyone from them or their homes.

Somehow I've been paying this company since March of this year and Duke energy stated that I would have had to sign up for their service. I did not. My electric bill kept going up monthly and this month it was over $400. Normally it's around $200. Turns out I've been overpaying for another service added to my bill. No clue how they were added to my account. I called AGE, spoke to someone named Shanikwa, EXT 607, she was rude and wouldn't let me speak to a manager. She stated she was the manager. She couldn't tell me how I was signed up and said that she couldn't see that information and no one in the company could help me either as she was the highest person available there to speak to. What a joke. This company is a complete scam. They need to be shut down. I wish I would have noticed this sooner. 5 months of overpaying.....no refund.

A random guy came to my door stating he was with AEP (my current electric company). I have been having an electric problem through my apartment and I was assuming he was there to fix things with my bill. I even asked him how I would get my refund for the overpriced bills I’ve been receiving and he lied and said I’d receive something in the mail after the phone call. He handed me a phone and I couldn’t understand anything the lady was saying but he prompted me to say yes to everything. After he left I got an email stating i had signed up for a completely different company that was never mentioned!!! I don’t want to ever be apart of a scam like this.

I don't normally leave Google reviews for places, but this company legitimately impersonated me in order to switch to their electrical supplier. I have photo and audio evidence of an Alpha Gas agent claiming to be me in order to use my info to sign up for their electrical service. If something like this happens to you, contact your state's public utilities department immediately and file a complaint saying the switch to this supplier was not authorized. You should be able to get your service with Alpha Gas cancelled by your next meter read date if you are prompt. Shame on everybody who works at this company.

Why is this company allowed to falsely represent consumers stated that they switch their supplier to them? Why are they no shut down by the BBB? Who is signing the request to switch? This is very aggravating. Consumers call your gas and electricity company and put a permanent block on Alpha Gas and Electricity. LLC.

Knock on doorbells to scam you and force you to show them your information, super aggressive and odd. Litterly acted as if they were on drugs.

Guy came to my front door and fraudulently scammed me into switching providers. He was a fast talker and didn't explain anything and was very intimidating. Cancelled immediately! You're not gonna scam me!

Do NOT by any means sign up for this company. In short they are a complete scam, will sign you up for their service even after you've taken the appropriate methods to cancel, and will still charge you months afterward and refuse to process you the refunds you are entitled to.

In detail - They sent two young people to knock on doors and I kindly allowed them into my home. They encouraged me to sign up for a cheaper and green-friendly service in comparison to what I was already being offered through Con Ed and National Grid. I was prompted to fill out digital documents, and then directed on what to say to the representative I spoke with over the phone. I confirmed that their cancellation policy was 3 days, and the very next day after the in-home visit I called the company by phone, emailed them, and mailed them a cancellation form to ensure that I met the cancellation window, completed all cancellation steps, and would not have my electricity service impacted. Instead however, I was charged for their electrical service for the next two months, which almost tripled the costs of my Con Edison and National Grid bills. After several back and forth emails they refused to provide me with the full refund amount I was entitled to and instead only offered me a partial amount. I should not have been responsible for paying absolutely anything to them given that I cancelled my service as soon as I signed up for it and they refused to understand this.

I am not sure how anything that they practice is legal. If you engage in any type of correspondence with this company please make sure to utilize email so that you can have record of all of your conversations. Also be sure to save any type of documents you are completing on their behalf so that you can reference it in any kind of third-party support you are choosing to seek.
