If I could give zero stars I would. We bought a house that came with a solar panel system that was installed by Jeff Wiley from JEC solar about 8 months prior. The system was purchased outright so we now own the roof ornament. The first month our bill was $5. Great, especially considering it was February and one of the worst months for solar production. Then, in March, our system stopped reporting usable energy to PSEG and we started getting bills between $200-$550 per month, even in July and August. Reached out to the installer and owner, Jeff Wiley, and was really surprised to get a $3,457.50 bill for 5 trips to the house and materials to troubleshoot why the fully functioning system suddenly malfunctioned, with no prior discussion about these fees. He told us the (first of many "solutions") system couldn't connect with new 5G cell towers and that WE would need to replace portions of the system, but he was not sure what portions. To date, we have now replaced the router, the inverter, the monitor, the production meter (twice) and are now trying to get ahold of Jeff. His voicemail is full and he doesn't respond to texts or emails until you get nasty and then you're just given a bunch of excuses. Have been trying to get ahold of Jeff for a solution, an update, anything at this point and he will answer you one time, then ignore you for a month or two. We are going on 10 months with no solution at this point and he could care less. Horrible customer service. If I could take the system off the roof without damaging my roof I'd deliver it back to Jeff myself. What a waste of money this system is. Do not do business with this company.
