Avoid scheduling with them at all costs! I scheduled an initial visit for a Friday. They call Thursday and demand that my wife also be present. I told them that would not be possible, and I would be present for the appointment. The woman on the phone was aggressive and insistent, I assume so it was not a barrier to signing a contract at visit, and eventually I said forget it. They then called 5 or 6 times and eventually I picked up and they rescheduled after apologizing. I had an 11 am appointment today which I confirmed at 8:30ish this morning. At noon, I spoke to them, and they decided to cancel and not tell me because one of their departments said I had to much tree cover. Unbelievable and I literally just had 5 trees taken down that I told them about when I scheduled the appointment. If I could leave 0 stars I would!

dishonestly conducted a roof inspection/assessment for solar panels on our home we had lived in for three years. They told us our roof was in great shape for a 25 year solar contract. Day of install the entire house was vibrating and I witnessed workers DRAGGING panels across my roof. I had to go outside with the wet dry vac and vacuum up an absurd amount of shingle granules. After install I had cracks in Sheetrock and nail pops, especially in an upstairs bedroom. The nail pops have exacerbated over the year following the install. My upstairs bedroom has also taken on a mildew odor. I called momentum to come look and was being given a run around. While waiting for their cooperation I contacted 5 different roofers/inspectors. One even pulled permits from when the prior owners installed the roof. Apparently my roof is 17 years old. It is a double shingle roof. The top layer of shingles was put on 17 years ago and I was told the bottom layer was not great. All the professionals I had here agreed that panels on a double shingle roof is too heavy for my home that was built in the 1950s. Not only is the weight too much, the roof is old. Once I received this information I called a multitude of other solar companies pretending to be an interested potential customer and stated I had a double shingle roof on the older side and was that feasible for solar; all other solar companies said it is recommended that I replace the roof first due to excessive weight. You only get a customer service call center calling momentum. I did have a customer service manager call me last week and she has been responding to my emails, its been a few days and she stated that she has yet to receive a response from roofing or someone who can help with a concern like this. I have been pursuing this issue with momentum since early May and we are now in late June. They do not operate with honesty and integrity. They will say anything to get you into a contract and then play games and act like their business practice is standard and acceptable.

Work hard until they sell, once you sign the contract they will forget you. You don’t even exit. Very poor service. I will give them zero star if that’s possible.

Momentum installed our solar panels in 2017 giving us a document stating they would remove and replace our panels in order to repair our roof. The sales mgr ANDREW KING director of sales signed it. Now they refuse to honor the agreement! They are unscrupulous fraudsters who will RIP YOU OFF!

Do not use Momentum solar, install and customer service was great in the beginning. But 5 years later, i have a panel that has gone bad and Momentum tells me my account was sold out to Spruce Power now and Momentum is no longer responsible for my account, Spruce Power is no help at all, does not return calls, emails, nothing so after 5 years, your totally on your own, should of done more research and went with a local company, what a Scam

This company sent me over 5 messages within less than a one day period. Two different representatives who I did speak to were dismissive and rude. One wanted to actually know why I could not make an appointment on the date suggested. The same company that was sued for racial discrimination lack professionalism with potential female clients. There is no way I would consider doing business with Momentum.

Horrible communication. Lie after lie. Just bad business. I hope their whole company is not ran like the Tampa office. I recently had solar panels installed. This has been a horrible experience to say the least. If you were some general contractor that I went looking for I think I would not be this mad but you solicited me and ever since signing on the dotted line its been lie after lie. During, the installation process I constantly had to call to ask when someone would be back out to finish the work. I still have not passed inspection yet! and now I am being billed by electric company and this ridiculous solar panel company for a service that is not even being rendered. I recently called into your call center to voice my distaste and they were already aware of the below standard business practices that were taking place. If this is not resolved VERY soon the better business bureau will be hearing from me and my lawyers.
