Yes, they're still open after all these years. I recently visited for the first time since like 2006. This is the sort of place that defines the "don't mess with a good thing" mantra. The layout of the store hasn't changed ever, the sort of consistency we beg for from other stores these days. If you are looking for a hard-to-find candy, try here first.

One of my favorite places to get 9ld school candy. I wish the Oak Lawn store was still open. Much closer and I miss Sam the manager. Always good to have a chat with.

We felt like a kid in a candy store. This store takes your way back to your childhood. so many candies from 1960-1970 Mary Jane's, squirrels, original buttons on a paper, candy cigarettes, mallow cups. old fashion Taffy Long strip plus the other saltwater taffy, Pop Rocks. They have black cows and sugar daddies. Did you ever have sponge candy they have that there, too? Milk and Dark chocolate. They have lots of sugar-free candy there too.they have so many bins of so many different kind of nuts. Some are salted, and some are not salted. They even have chocolate-covered pecans it tastes like banana bread it was so delicious I had to buy some for a friend of mine who loves banana bread all kinds of boxes of candies and decorations and candies for baby showers case for weddings all kinds of candies jelly beans anything you could think of it it's amazing in there. I'd like to better when it was closer in Oak Lawn on 103rd. Did they move to Tinley Park such a little bit farther so we don't get up there that often. When we do go, I spend about 34 dollars you get lost in there. You feel like you're back in grammar school. Not a place you want to miss if you break Tinley Park or you're going to be in that area. Make sure you stop it's a little Hidden Gem in a little tiny Mall.

Our family loves this place. They carry albanese gummy bears in both regular and sugar free. I personally like the pistachios, this time I chose the chili lime flavored pistachios. Great location, more of a variety than our regular Lansing location. Highly recommend.

Update: just left there bought $24 worth of candy, and decided to go back and get some more and they refused to sell more chunky candies stating they were going to go up on the price and didn't know what that would be, despite me having just purchased the candy less then 2 minutes ago. Will not be back and will be updating on all sites their practices.

They have the hard to find retro candy, and the coolest PEZ dispensers

Really good selection and great prices on the per lb bulk candy. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for, but the young man behind the counter made some suggestions that I really enjoyed. You don't see these types of stores too often anymore, so I was really happy to have found it. Most of the negative reviews are customer service based, which we did not experience, but hopefully is addressed because this is an awesome little shop.
