We have been customers of Advance Solar & Spa Inc. for 16 years, ever since they installed our pool solar heating system. It has been reliable and efficient, with only an occasional repair to plug a small leak. Their team (particularly Shaun) was always courteous and readily explained the nature of the problem and how they were fixing it. So, therefore when we were advised last year to replace our aging system (it had lasted four years beyond its usual lifespan) we naturally had Advance Solar perform the replacement. The cost was very reasonable and they used the identical gold-standard 12-panel system. Michelle coordinated the removal of our old one allowing a couple of days for the roofing company to replace the metal roof screws that also had exceeded their best-by-date. The new solar system was installed a day later and has been functioning beautifully ever since. We are very indebted to Advance Solar & Spa for their excellent service and high-quality workmanship.

We had the system installed back in 2016. It works exactly as described and raises the temperature of the water in the pool by 5 to 7°. The installation was very well done and most recently when we had an issue with an outstanding permit that Palm Beach County messed up, they went over and above what was required to make sure that the issue was resolved. Kudos to them. I would use them again without hesitation.

Second house where we used Advance Solar to install the solar system for pool heat. Very happy with the product performance as it definitely helps boost the pool temperature significantly before having to use the primary heat source. The service on both projects was excellent; would definitely recommend Advance Solar.

Update:

I received a call from Advanced Solar about my issue. The credit card policy was changed due to issues with payments after all the storms so I feel better knowing it wasn't personal. My issue was handled satisfactorily and I appreciate this company taking my concerns seriously and following up to resolve. I also feel more comfortable as to why they have a history of positive reviews.

Previous review:

After Ian had a good experience withe Advance Solar repairing a leak. Had to pay $200 just for them to come out but they fixed the problem for $260 total. Had another leak last week and they scheduled someone to come check. The 130 pm appointment turned into a call at 430 p from tech. As it was windy and closing in on dark I told tech it was probably prudent to reschedule. The next day a tech showed up, hours after scheduled time, to repair. Said he fixed three leaks and paid $253. Next morning system still leaking. I called and was told i would have to pay $200 for them to show up again. I was told they wouldn't charge if it previous work that failed. How am I supposed to know if it was previous work? Shouldn't the tech have checked he got all leaks the day before when he was here? How can i be sure it will be fixed this time. Was called back today to tell me we are scheduled for tomorrow and wanted a credit card. I was never asked for card before for the last two visits and paid with check to tech upon completion. After questioning unhappily, yesterday, about the charges all of a sudden a card is required? I don't mind giving a card but was concerned it was all of a sudden needed. I need leak fixed so i will suck it up but i would stress caution regarding the customer service skills of these folks.

Excellent work all round. From technician Shawn D who came to diagnose the problem with our old unit to Dustin Warren in sales and through to installers Joshua and his son we were delighted with the professional and friendly manner of everyone.
Over the years I’ve learned the hard way not to give out recommendations but this time I’ll make an exception. First class company to work with.
