I started thinking about solar power in April, and mentioned it to a Bone Dry Roofing employee that was repairing a piece of soffit on my house. He mentioned that they now had a division called Bone Dry Solar. I did some homework and got feasibility studies and design quotes from two companies. Both companies indicated that I would need new shingles before solar panels could be installed. I used Bone Dry Roofing to install the new shingles because I have used them for several jobs in the past. About a month later I decided to get solar panels and I selected Bone Dry Solar because their affiliation with Bone Dry Roofing would ensure that the shingle warranty would be honored. I had Jay do a site assessment to give me confidence that they could install a system in my old house with no attached garage.
After signing my quote in September, my system was installed 6 weeks later. The installation took 3 days—2 days to install 16 panels on the roof, and another day to finish the electrical work for a Tesla Powerwall 3 in the basement, and a gateway and disconnect outside. The installation crew was professional and friendly, and the project lead was very knowledgeable and would explain what was going on when I checked in to see how the installation was going. A few days after the installation, the engineer came out to examine the system and show me some of the features in the Tesla app. Based on my experience, I would recommend using Bone Dry Solar.

Solar is a scam. They are contracted by another company to fix what pink energy was supposed to have finished. Pink Energy filed bankruptcy, and was using a company called good leap to finance all the solar systems at an outrageous price. Bone Dry was supposed come out and finish it, yet a year later they call me to tell me they are still having in issue with the city about permitting, which I had explained to them before what the inspector said needed to be done. All solar and solar installers are a scam. Just quick to get into it to get quick money out of people. Why does it take a year to get info i already provided. Laziness and unwilling to listen to the person having to pay for it. I just wish the day the sales rep showed up to my house was a dream. Paid on a system for 2 years to find out it would never get finished wont save me any money, and needing to jump through hoops because of other people's idiocy. Scam scam scam.

Had solar installed by someone else. Squirrel damage after year 4. Generac referred Bone Dry Solar as solution as my installer was unresponsive. Bone Dry came out and evaluated the problem and quoted a solution for re-wiring. They did the evaluation and the repairs in one day.....excellent!. Great communication and resolution. They are my solar solutions company going forward.

Rep. Was on time, looked things over, reset the inverter, and the battery. Errors cleared, and the system was functional again. No problems since his visit. I am pleased with Bone Dry Solar. Very good work.

I got quotes from 8 different solar installers (in part because I was undecided about string vs micro-inverter). I ended up going with Bone Dry Solar. They answered all my questions honestly (not all installers did). Their price was reasonable. The install went great. The crew was very professional. I was dropped by our original team that sold us the solar system. Power Home Solar/Pink Energy, due to their bankruptcy, so we had no idea of how to get anything fixed. We called generac and they hooked me up with the great team at Bone Dry Solar. I have had them out twice and both times the guys were punctual and fix my issues, getting me back online quickly.
