If I could give this place -10 I would. They asked me for a deposit for new service and I paid it. Right after after paying it, I was denied service stating that I needed my ID and a passport in order to get service. Okay fine, but here it is almost a month later and no refund. I have been more than patient and understanding. I wish there was a corporate number to call. Today 12/30/24, i spoke with the escalation department they are telling me my refund has been under review since 12/09/24. This is ridiculous and I would hate to go to small claims court but I will.

12/31/24 Day 1,000 and they still lying. I don't know if this company tries to wait you out or assume you may forget but it's not happening. Someone told me on 12/30/24 the money will be deposited to my account. I called back today and now I need to wait until 01/04/25 to get a paper check. I am going to obtain a lawyer and take this matter to small claims court. It makes absolutely no sense that no one their knows what's going on. This is pitiful and distasteful.

01/03/25. I called today and spoke with Dania. Still. The same ol same
lies, runaround, and deception! This is the worst company I've ever encountered. I have been in contact with my attorney who advised to give it one last attempt. I will not be calling any longer. All other communication will be through my attorney. See you in court Cirro!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! This company is a rip off!! Their customer service department isn’t any better!! They doubled my kWh charges and added other fees the first month I was signed up with them! And I was stuck in this contract I wasn’t aware of cause a third party helped me sign up with them! I could barely afford my monthly bill!! So i finally cancelled services with them. $295 cancellation fee! I asked to be on a payment plan for this fee and was told they don’t do that. They aren’t open to helping their customers at all! I asked to speak to a manager and the supervisor Jeffrey (I doubt that was his name) told me the managers don’t take calls. So you are pretty much screwed with dealing with supervisors who are trained to not help you!!

Companies like this shouldn’t be in business!! I’m calling the BBB to make a complaint!

I sent my Cirro bill payment to Houston
Which is what it says on the bill. I find out that I should have sent the check to Dallas after they cut my electricity. I also had to pay with credit card to get elec back on today. They said the card was not good. I immediately called my credit card co. And the informed me the card was a valid card. So what an evening of turmoil. The customer service dept had no compassion regarding their blunders. Rest assured I will be looking for a new provider. I struggled to Give them 2 stars.

Good luck ever cancelling service. I have a commercial account with 3 meters. I inherited a meter from the previous owner that was never used. I called Cirro 3 times trying to cancel service but once I was hung up on, and each time after that I was bounced around multiple times even though I correctly answered the phone tree that this was a commercial account (someone said they were in residential and would have to transfer me), I was then transferred to enrollment....they told me they can't cancel accounts. Very unethical!

we signed up with a 3 year contract back in May of 2023. The last time they billed correctly was Dec 2023. Though starting in Aug of 2023 it became "iffy" ... I gave them the benefit of doubt and called to advise they made a error. I advised that because I wasn't making the 2000kwh for a couple of months, it looked like it kicked out my contract price. Even when I was over 2000, they were still charging the same price as if I was below 1000 - anyone that has reviewed the EFL or whatever it's called, knows this is all horseshit to begin with, but we play this stupid game.

They advised that because of Oncor Emergency Preparedness -ONCOR's charges increased, but that it will be coming back down since the winter of 2023 was not as bad as predicted. They refereed me to Oncor to have this adjusted. Oncor doesn't have customer records. They do not deal with the public at all other than repairs. They do not even have a billing system for service for us regular folks. This pissed me off, but I let it go. Thinking the corrections would arrive. They did not.

After several months of improper billing, I called back. I was given the canned text of "Our price has remained the same. The price you signed up with. It has not changed." Regardless of anything I said, they simply repeated that same line. VERBATIM. The additional charge is Oncor's fault. You need to call them. Yes, having worked for the phone company for many years, I am fully aware of the charges that increase and rather than the company pay them, they pass them on to the customer. However, my 3 year contract is with Cirro. There is an ETF if I leave. I honor my contract. They breach theirs. The contract I have is NOT WITH ONCOR. I don't care if Oncor raised their service provider fee to Cirro by 1 BILLION dollars. My contract (between Cirro and myself) is for 11.5 cents for 2000+; 12.5 for 1000-1999; and 13.8 for 500-999. That is my contract. Simply honor the crap you're selling. Simple as that. Stop with the , "well, when Oncor raises our rate, we transfer that increase to all our customers, else we won't make a billion dollar profit on every 100,000 customers." (numbers are exaggerated or spot on, I don't really know, but you get my point) ... I'm tired of contracts, sales pitches, promises of no hidden fees, only to be (I won't finish this thought, but again those who read this and are over 40 know where it was going) -

I do not recommend this company. I understand that the prices everywhere are insane and they will more than likely get you with a lower rate, but be prepared to be screwed. Maybe in the long run it will all average out (the cost of another company whose charge is higher today, but will be lower in a year vs sticking with them) But remember, you won't be able to switch unless you want to pay them $400 for an Early Termination Fee. When they can't be bothered to honor the contract you signed, shouldn't they pay us the $400 for breach of said contract?

I also do not recommend them because their customer service is horrid. They do not listen, they just read canned text from a screen. They believe there is no management system in place and that any billing issues can just be referred to Oncor, who I assure you, CAN NOT help with billing. I wish you all the best in finding a company you can trust and who will give you a good price. If you know of someone, please share - it might be worth the $400 fee to leave.

I am already in a 36 month contract with Cirro and have sufficed a deposit as well and the salesman tried to sell me another plan while I’m still in the contract. All I wanted to do was transfer my service and they tried to increase a sell in the process of the transfer that will cause me to pay another deposit and be penalized for the 36 month contract that I’m currently in. Th rates are already through the roof and keep climbing higher and higher. Worst customer service ever on this morning.

Just note : I have been a loyal customer with them and they require another credit check and another deposit just to transfer your services to another address!
