Goodness I don’t know where to start. I contacted Lawrenceville utility to see if they can email me my bill on what’s due because usually I would get it automatically but I didn’t this month. I called at LEAST 5 times yesterday and everyone there kept telling me to get it online when online isn’t what I was looking for. No one wanted to help me and then today I called at least twice the first person I talked to still could not help me and the last person I talked to was able to easily send me what I been asking everyone else to do. Moral of this review. Managers hire very LAZY people at this company that does not want to do there job. And thank you to the person that was able to help me I truly appreciate it.

They hired a contractor to run a new Gas Pipeline through our neighborhood which cut off Spectrum Cable, ATT Phone & Jackson EMC Power causing outages for a few hours when they ran the lines. Their contractors also destroyed our neighborhood Sign and have refused fix the sign. Unfortunately, they are not doing anything to Dispel the bad impression many have of government ran agencies.

Horrible utility company I can’t wait to move. They have no payment arrangement options whatsoever and the bills are out of control. The service goes out at least once a week if it rains too hard or the wind is too strong there goes the power and I work from home. Do you think they credit the CUSTOMERS for that inconvenience? Of course not. Terrible!

If I could give it ZERO ⭐️! I would ! I have lived in my 3 story house for 10 years!!! This is the first time ever our electricity bill is $595😤😡! Nothing has changed in our home! This is ridiculous. My husband is the bread winner. I take care of our 2 special needs children. Something needs to get done! This is killing us!!! A whole weeks paycheck going towards this outrageous electricity bill is crazy!!!!! I’m VERY UPSET WITH CITY OF LAWRENCEVILLE! What the heck is going on there? YALL FIX THIS! Ripping us off like this is wrong!!

Please update the website to add auto draft. Why do we need to come to city hall to start the process. We the people have to work and to take time out of our day just to set up auto draft in person is ridiculous. I can easily set up my auto draft with other utilities company online.

Seriously, this is the worst utility company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I moved here in January of this year, and connected the gas immediately, pursuant to my lease agreement.

I have not received a SINGLE physical bill to this address. I also have Daily Digest through USPS, gone through the entire history since living here, and there has not been a SINGLE physical bill expected at this address. Daily Digest not only shows me any correspondence I should expect, it shows me any mail addressed to the previous tenants that has been forwarded. Again, I will repeat, there has not been a SINGLE physical bill expected at this address since I've lived here.

Because I had not received a bill, I created an online account through their system. I saw my first bill pop up, back in February, and paid it without an issue. The online system does allow you to view an image of our bill as it would appear if you did happen to receive a physical copy. I thought it odd that my first bill with them stated Final Bill, but disregarded it.

March came and went and nothing came in the mail, and nothing popped up on their website. As a matter of fact, I have a screenshot that I took of their system on April 3, 2024 that said there was no outstanding bill for this account number & customer number.

I thought maybe we are supposed to be billed a billing cycle or two behind, which wasn't unexpected as that is how our last place did.

Nope. I checked today April 15, 2024, and not only did I apparently have a bill that was due by April 3, 2024, but I had ANOTHER bill with a disconnect notice.

There was also another bill visible with the same account number and the same address but a different customer name and customer number. Luckily, that wasn't factored into my account balance.

I called the company, thinking, Oh, this is just a misunderstanding. I'm sure we can clear this up. I expressed my confusion to the lady I spoke with, and she basically told me that they send a bill in the mail every single month, and if I do not receive it, it is not their fault; it is USPS's fault. She said, "As a COURTESY, they'd remove the late charges. Which they can do once per year."

I was then told I needed to pay the entire past due by April 29th, or it would be disconnected.

I had her switch my correspondence to electronic, and she said I'd receive my next bill on May 8th. So, we will see.

Even if they HAD sent a physical copy to my address, which they did not do, their own online system repeatedly showed no outstanding bill or balance. Completely ridiculous, rude, and uncaring.

Must be nice to be able to treat your customers like crap when you know they have to use you for their gas.

Very confused about all these crazy ridiculous made up charges on my power bill. $200 deposit, $50 connect fee ok but then they have $63 in sanitation fee, base fee and some other power cost adjustment fee. I just moved to lawrenceville and will not be stolen from. Times are way too hard right now. I'm just going to move out of this area. Not paying these made up charges

I do not recommend this utility company. If you are planning or live in Lawrenceville, please move to a different area. My bill for my house was over 300.00 a month. The customer service was not great. As a single mother of one younger child, I had to use my child savings just to pay this bill because they would not work with me to keep us not getting our power cut off. It's very sad to say because all they care about is the money and not helping people. They will tell you over the phone that they do not have payment options as far as payment arrangements. So if you are seeking to move to the Lawrenceville area, do not use this company.
