Paying your bill is way more difficult than it should be. They charge an exorbitant "convenience fee" (it's their convenience, not mine) for paying on line. If you mail them a check, they may not post it to your account for several days after it arrives, thus adding steep late penalties. Banks can't do EFT for on-line banking because MSE won't set it up (they did when they were JONG). All things considered, their business operations with customers are terrible. And unfortunately, unlike most Georgians, I'm stuck with MSE. I'm not allowed to change providers to get better service.

There was one time where i called because the price changed obviously higher. Their excuse was " gas is rising so our natural gas also is rising " 🤦🏻‍♂️. I pay my bills on time and and im sick of CONVENIENCE FEES!!!! There is nothing convenience about paying a bill, as a matter of fact im paying the bill online or over the phone and the robot behing the screen or phone is the one taking care of me responses. PRESS 1 FOR THIS PRESS 1 FOR THAT PRESS PRESS PRESS. 🥱. Oh and the 2nd language over the phone is not spanish 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 its some Area 52 language 🤦🏻‍♂️.

My husband and I have had two late fees posted since we’ve become customers. We are diligent to pay our bills on time. So I called our bank to ask what the turn around time is for getting our checks to Mid State. It never happened when we were Jointly Owned customers. My bank said that Mid State can’t process electronically sent checks so a paper check has to be mailed by our bank. So if any other customers are using their banks bill pay services, and have had late fees you need to mail your check to them. Mid State has a drop box in the parking lot.
Man, do I miss Jointly Owned gas company! Lesson learned!

Jointly Owned Natural Gas rate is 2 times more than Atlanta Natural Gas Company.
I own small restaurant in Macon, gas bill is more than $500. I owned similar restaurant in Atlanta gas bill was $200-$250. I can't understand why this company charged high. I think GA State should control natural gas.
