The install was scheduled between 8 and 9am. The crew arrived at 8am Sharp. The worked clean and efficiently. They even switched out a regular outdoor light for an LED light near the roof at my request without any issues.
I'm now ready for the next phase, but so far so good.

G3 Solar will not assume responsibility for the lack of service and attention to detail. Since installation, the solar system has been inoperable for nearly two years. We have attempted to contact G3 Solar, the loan company, the monitoring company, and the power company. All entities have asserted that they have no data or records of any solar activity. However, we have yet to receive any communication from G3 Solar.

Upon receiving responses from all involved parties, we were prepared to dispute loan payments through the AP system (monitoring company). The monitoring company inquired about our access to the solar panel to verify its functionality. Once we were able to access the panel and turn it on, data began to flow through to their monitoring systems.

We subsequently contacted G3 Solar for compensation, but they declined, asserting that the homeowners are responsible for ensuring the system’s proper functioning.

G3 has been amazing to work with! From the start, they provided clear information about the benefits and costs of going solar, and the entire process was seamless. The installation team was friendly, professional, and did an excellent job with setup. Since switching, I’ve noticed significant savings on my energy bills, and it feels great knowing I’m reducing my carbon footprint. Their customer service has been prompt and helpful whenever I had questions. I highly recommend for anyone considering solar!

This is not a company I would recommend. You want solar? Call companies. Don’t allow door knockers to sell you something they will NOT stand behind. I now have a large payment each month for a solar loan as well as an electric bill since what they installed doesn’t cover even half of my usage.

A response from THIS owner: I stand by my review. G3 wants to say that they have a system working exceptionally, but I would say it is working fine...just not nearly enough for what the house needs. My usage has been very similar month over month from last year, but the production from this system is NOWHERE near needed. See the picture- blue is used, green is produced. Do YOU think they did a good job? So either the system was created well under the need, or the equipment stinks. Either way, I now pay 2/3 of my typical electric bill AND a payment for the solar panels. BUYER BEWARE. This is NOT the company to deal with.

It's been a pretty horrible experience so far. The permitting phase took some time but that was expected, no complaint there. It was after the permitting was completed that the issues began.

Someone reached out to schedule a date for installation but no one showed up for the installation, nor did anyone call. We were eventually able to reschedule the installation and everything went well that time.

Roughly a week later, someone came out to inspect everything. Everything passed inspection but the inspector apparently forgot to turn the system back on before he left and it took a day and a half before we realized it and restarted the system ourselves.

Finally, I'm very concerned that the size of the array is going to be inadequate for our needs. We've been installed for some time now and, so far, our energy consumption is outpacing our energy production. When we purchased the system, the salesperson assured us (after reviewing our past utility bills) that it would be sufficient for our energy needs. The monthly cost of the system exceeds our what our electrical bills have been but, if it replaced said electrical bill, we felt that would acceptable. As it stands right now, however, it looks like this will be a bill in addition to our electric bill, rather than a replacement for it.

I have been trying to get in contact with someone from G3 solar for months they promised me a promotional check if I signed up to get the solar panels they also told me I would not have a high electric bill anymore. Now I am paying for solar panels and paying the same amount that I was paying before for an electric bill. I have not received any of the add-ons that they claim to give included in the solar panel deal their communication sucks. I would not recommend this company at all. Very unprofessional And they try to get away with doing everything so cheap but charge you $55,000 for a Solar panel install

Had my system installed in 2020 and it has NEVER worked right for more than a cpl months at a time. And, now, they want to charge me a $250 truck dispatch fee to come do warranty work. REALLY, consider your options and DON'T use them!!!

This company has been a nightmare to work with. Solar was supposed to be up and running on Dec 1st 2024. it's now april 1st 2025 and the solar is still not functioning. We have been given the run around of a "missing part thats ordered" for months now. We no longer wish to work with this company due to the fact they are impossible to communicate with above local sales reps but they refuse to come collect their panels to keep us locked into the payments. During the install of the panels, they also disconnected power to several outlets that have now not worked for months, and they haven't even sent anyone out to attempt to reconnect to fix that problem as well. All in all, this has been a terrible experience, and now we may be locked into a contract for panels that dont even work since we can't even get ahold of someone at corporate to help. Highly do not recommend.
