Do NOT do it, it is a scam!!!! You will pay more than what they tell you and that 10k money they say you will get it’s just a credit the way it really works is you have to owe 10k in taxes in order for it to work if you owe 10k then you don’t have to pay it in taxes but you have to pay it towards the solar panel loan or your monthly payment will triple. Pls don’t fall for it. I was told my solar panels will cover my electric bill but that was also a lie. I was told my solar panel bill would be $150. Got my first bill and it’s $275 not to mention panels only covered $50-$75 in savings.

We had a great experience with Green Star. After getting multiple different quotes from different solar companies, Green Star stood out to us. 1. Their prices were a lot better. 2 They use better equipment 3. They were very detailed and attentive with us through the process. Chandler Mataele was our rep and I couldn’t recommend him enough! He was very upfront, courteous and professional. Overall, we are very happy we went with Green Star when we chose to go solar 🙂

Had my roof replaced recently due to hail damage and Green Star Solar Solutions was tasked with the removal and reinstall of my solar panels. Unfortunately, I think they get confused with another company that has a similar name, the same company that originally installed my panels. By chance, my contractor and insurance company were confused as well and hired Green Star Solar Solutions instead of my original installer to perform the work. Thankfully, it was a blessing in disguise.

This company has been wonderful, Julio in particular. They kept me up to date every step of the way, worked around San Antonio’s winter storm conditions, provided me with extensive detail and information about my system, went beyond the scope of work and mapped out my system for free, and double/triple checked my systems output to insure it was performing optimally; even informing me of some potential factors (such as shading from trees) that could be causing a decrease in performance.

To put it mildly, their service was above and beyond the original installer. Honestly, wish I would have originally went with these guys… but no use in dwelling in the past. I definitely recommend Green Star Solar Solutions!

The sales person Ashley Burke quoted monthly loan payments but never gave me a total of the solar panels for over 30 thousand for a small 1100 square foot house. I'm retired so this isn't helping with the cps bill. I was given an amount less than a hundred dollars per month now the loan company called to double it because I hadn't made hiadditional payments last year 2023 😳. I wouldn't have agreed to this if this would have been told to me at the very beginning. Sales are sales and the customer gets stuck with the cost that can't be reversed. Oh I can sell my house but any balance remaining has to come out to pay the loan off. In the long run for a small home that is older it isn't worth the expense. I will never let anyone in that is trying to sell something quick without total details and paperwork given as a contract. Someone had to yell this person from greenstar that I was moving in here. That is when she showed up while I had boxes everywhere. Took advantage of me. Don't purchase solar panels. Calculate your monthly cps bills to see if the cost of the panels is worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prompt, professional and care about the experience their customers have BEYOND just the sell. Their technicians are always courteous and knowledgeable. I genuinely recommend this company for all aforementioned reasons and because they did all the paperwork for me to get my rebate from City Public Service! They offered military discount too. That was nice because it isn't an entitlement. 🇺🇲

We recently had Green Star Solutions plan, install, and qualify a new solar system. Green Star was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process, handling all the permitting, installation, etc. Because they use master electricians for the work the final city inspection was a breeze. I very much recommend them.

Nate Merrill was very professional and knowledgeable about how and how much my solar will be and helped me from the start to the end. Everything was done right from getting the right positions for the panels to the install of the equipment. Great overall experience!!

Great company to work with. They answered all my questions and did all the wiring for my electric car and looks clean and professional.

They came thru Qmerit and installed approximately 20 feet and no extra charge. The fist company came thru Qmerit wanted to charge an extra $173 at first and then another $600 for the wires. Green Star did the whole thing only for the amount Qmerit.
