I had an amazing experience with Greenspire to install solar panels on my home. The team was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process, from the initial consultation to the final installation. They were always available to answer any questions I had and made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I'm thrilled with my new solar system and have already noticed a significant decrease in my energy bills. I highly recommend Greenspire to anyone interested in going solar - they're simply the best!

I was told that if I referred a friend, I would receive a 1000 check as a refferal bonus. Well, I referrred a friend, he got solar, and I still have not received said check. I'm wondering if there is anyone else as there that has had the same experience? If so, contact me so we can look into filing a class action lawsuit. Greenspire, you could just pay me my money and do the right thing. If so, I will glady remove this review.

7 months and still not complete. Once sale is made you won't get any response until you complain. Too many other companies to go to.
Every month is a different issue and now they want me to do their work and contact SCE to try and rush application? Edison already completed inspection!

Same experience as the other recent reviewers. A person came to my home and said they were going to do an energy audit. I thought “great! I was going to schedule one anyway!” and made an appointment.

But no. No energy audit. He just looked at my bill, wasted 90 minutes of my time, and was pushy about signing a solar loan contract that is not a good deal and would make it very difficult to sell my home in the future.

Don’t give these people a minute of your time and definitely do not let them into your home.

Sales person who came to my door was very dishonest. He claimed he worked with my electric company and said nothing about being a solar company. He claimed they wanted to set up an appointment to make sure my house set up correctly with either enough insulation or my windows were the correct windows. He claimed they wanted to have someone come out and check everything for me and if not it would be at no cost to have those things corrected on my house. The day of the appointment all they talked about was solar panels and nothing about the other stuff he said they were trying to make sure of. Very shady company and sales practices. You should definitely look elsewhere for solar if you are looking.

This company is run by very bad people and scam artists. Their salesman will say anything to get you to sign on the contract so do not believe in a word they say. I signed a leased contract and they are supposed to install solar panels at no cost, then maintain & repair everything if they cause damages to my house. They used sub par contractors who did a lousy job & you have no saying to anything that were done to your house. Workers never showed up when they said they would & the job dragged out for 6 months. They caused damages to my heater & would not come to fix it in the middle of winter. That cost me $560 and they refused to accept responsibilities or reimbursed me. They made me pay an additional $750 their contractor to patch up the stucco due to the relocation of the electrical panel (they would not continue the job unless I pay). The whole electrical panel job barely passed inspection & it was done so sloppy and ugly that I have to pay my own electrician about $1,000 to redo some of the work.
So now I owed Greenspire or Sunrun $23k paying over the next 20 years & they also got the $7.5k tax solar credit instead of me. This is a really bad deal so RUN whenever you see this people coming. Anybody who knows of a good contract lawyer, please let me know. I am sure this is not legal & they must be breaching the contract.

They were very difficult to work with. Highly disorganized. Roofers were not experienced. Post- install they called for a repair that was estimated for 2 weeks. 7 weeks and 4 calls (from me) later, there has been no follow up from greenspire or sunnova. I would avoid this company. Try sunrun or sun power.

Follow up- I have 3 ongoing leaks in my roof caused by poor installation. The panels weren't flush and required calibration. It has been months and this is unresolved. Greenspire's phone number doesn't work. We've been working with Sunnova. I regret going with this Greenspire.
