This place is unreliable I have witnessed them hire a good amount of people just to lay them off after one month because of bankruptcy. People have lost a finger and a woman had her leg cut in this dangerous environment but they will never speak on safety issues. If you like feeling like your in prison this is it.

I was at SK "almost" two years. At first it wasn't a bad job. Pay was decent enough but literally after 6 months it went straight to hell. They would change policies left and right, HR would literally be a different person almost every month. They changed pay period cutting out almost 300 dollars, they didn't take complaints seriously at all esp against team leads or managers, they changed the attendance policy to where you had to get 3 months of perfect attendance but if you used your epto you wouldn't get perfect attendance......why the hell would you give an employee something to use then punish them when they did? They raised the cost of insurance almost 100 dollars more. Time are tough enough for us but all they were concerned was saving money. The language barrier was bad as well. They said you have room to advance which was a lie I saw two coworkers trying to move to maintenance only for others to be hired an them to no longer qualify for the position. If you go there be ready to walk to the other side of the plant for work. Good luck working with them

I went to the job fair and orientation. SK Battery really had things very organized and on time for anyone looking for a job. The facility is very clean. The staff is so kind and super nice. ✨✨✨

I had the opportunity to work at SK Battery America, and I feel compelled to share my experiences. Unfortunately, my time there was marked by several serious issues.

First and foremost, the workplace environment felt deeply corrupt. There were numerous instances where favoritism influenced promotions and job assignments, leading to a lack of transparency and fairness. It was disheartening to see hard work go unrecognized while others advanced based on personal connections rather than merit.

Additionally, I witnessed troubling instances of racism among staff and management. It seemed that discriminatory attitudes were not only present but, at times, tolerated. This created a toxic atmosphere that left many feeling marginalized and unsupported.

Safety was another major concern. The facilities often felt unsafe, with inadequate safety protocols in place. Employees were sometimes pushed to meet production goals at the expense of their well-being, leading to avoidable accidents and injuries. Overall, my experience at SK Battery America was disappointing. The combination of corruption, racism, and an unsafe work environment made it a place I could not recommend to others. It’s crucial for any company to prioritize the well-being and dignity of its employees, and unfortunately, that was lacking here.

I worked at SK for almost 2 years and advanced farther and faster than anyone else around me. I was a level 4 logistics operator and should have been a level five if they would organize their processes correctly, there was almost nothing there that I could not fix that was within my scope of work and everybody was always constantly asking for my help or my assistance to show them how to do this or that or the other. And still even after I have been gone for months I still get calls from employees there on how to fix things because no one else knows how because they never took the time to actually study and learn like they should have. I was moved to electrode for no reason even though I was one of the best operators they had which made absolutely no sense to move someone of my skill level away from his department where i trained everyone from Kentucky and Tennesse and all the while they kept inferior operators people who could not do their job or just lazy people in general who do not care. SK stole our money by changing the work day of which the week ends from Sunday to Saturday, but we were still expected to work 60 hours in a week and not get paid for the overtime which is theft no matter how you want to pretty it up with special words and roses, bells and whistles. The week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday, weekdays /weekends anything else is just an attempt to legally steal money from hardworking employees because you are cheap and you truly do not care about your employees well-being you just put on the biggest and best dog and pony show money can buy. And then to even top it off when I was moved I had money takin away from me because you put me in a different part of the building and even when I arrive there I already knew a lot of things in that area that the operators there did not and you tried to write it off as a new process so you took money from me again which is absolutely ridiculous because I earned every single penny that I made, I wasted my time and studied for 2 years to learn lyour processes and your equipment. So in the end I wound up using all of my vacation and all of my days and I quit because I have standards and morals that I live by and I will not let a foreign company or any American company for that matter come in and treat me like trash and expect for me to continue to work for them and you better get a smart SK because if you think The high quality Americans who do good work and do what they're supposed to are going to continue to put up with your crap then you're sorely mistaken. All you will ever have is subpar employees so you might as well bring in all the Koreans from across the pond because that's what it's going to take to run your company. So this post is for everyone out there do not waste your time at SK battery they are good one minute and bad the next when they don't have work they will fire the best and keep the rest they are not structured no matter what they say half of their management has never managed anything that required real manager skills almost every manager I knew got promoted because they knew the main manager or they hired in someone new who knew absolutely nothing about what is going on, and it is still happening right now I get calls and text from employees who still work there there everyday laughing at them because it's such a pitiful excuse for a place to work. SK you made a thousand promises and did not keep one people give you everything they have and you promised them the world but thtough bad management you did not provide none of it people trusted you they bought new homes and they bought cars and they put insurance on their families and then 85% of them was let go due to mismanagement of future work you should have continued to pay those employees until the work came back and you should have taken the loss you are a multi-billion dollar company you could have done it. And before you get ready to have new hiring events you need to hire back anyone who is crazy enough but willing to come back you owe everyone at least that much.

Moved up to Georgia from Florida for utilities job at sk.After 3 months I knew I wasn't going to stay.Absolute worse job I've had and will ever have had.

All those 3rd world shenanigans you hear about but here in our country. HR and upper management are over a half mile away and won't come out of their crystal palace to see what's actually going on. Good ole PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY. Been reading reviews and most of em are spot on. Except the brown nosers giving 5 stars because mgmt asked them to.

Good place to work if you want to make money. Good benefits! Can't beat that. If you do plan on working here. Make sure you get here early enough to get through security. They do put stickers over your cameras on your phone. No photos allowed on site.
