Since moving to this area in 2023, we have had good service from Grady EMC. That all changed when they began running lines for their new fiber optic internet service. The crew doing this installation is beyond unprofessional. They have jumped over our fence to get to our property after being told to leave, lied about being employees of Grady, and finally engaged in some WWE action you can see on this video clip. We will make the full version available on our YouTube channel if interested.

My wife contacted customer service only to be treated with disrespect by their supervisor Amy. She kept talking over my wife and was very rude. She even claimed to not have our email or phone number on file, but they have no issue sending us a bill to our email addresses! If I could buy power from another company, I would. Maybe I will install solar power and go off grid.

In any event, beware if these crews show up to run fiber optic on Grady poles. They don't care about your rights as property owners, and Grady doesn't care about you!

There's really not much to say. Nothing will be fixed or done. This is just a terrible electric company to do business with. They won't comment or offer to do anything to fix the issues they have. People will continue to pay because they need power and these vultures will keep the bill high to ensure they can send their children on lavish trips and keep their mistresses happy. Front desk little workers are also no help. Their highest education is a high school diploma, so they only know the basics when it comes to helping. I will never live in another home that does business with any Grady EMC. Horrible horrible company WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Since moving here to Grady Co I have never seen such bad service and I once lived in a county much smaller and never had as many outages as this! We have been out of power since 2:30 this morning. I have a father in a wheelchair as well here. I cannot even keep a clock set in this house just in the month of July the power has went off at least twice in one week and there was not even bad weather outside. We sit for hours at a time waiting for service to be restored but this company wastes no time sending a bill each month!

I've had Grady emc for roughly 15 years since buying the property I have now. No one gets capital gains back unless they're friends with the very corrupt board. Regular co-op members get zero benefits, overpriced and barely functional services, rude customer service, and now after years of having to have their service they're trying to make us pay insurance for outside equipment? I don't have a dryer, never use heaters, changed over to window AC units, have done all kinds of little tricks to weatherize my home as well as be mindful of leaving lights on and my bill is 300 to 500 a month no matter what I do and now you want 7 more dollars "in case" your equipment breaks? And let me guess...if I don't, it's suddenly going to need repairs. I can see it now. Please if you have options I would definitely advise others to not move to an area that Grady emc services. If I had known it would be like this, I never would have bought this land.

I recently purchased property in the area. My initial contact with Grady EMC was via email. They were extremely helpful and prompt in replying to my questions. My power was set up immediately and once I received my first bill I was able to set up bill pay online. Very smooth transition to the area. Thank you!

Non professional workers they don't even know how to count..charged me extra money and tried to disconnect my services..money hungry company!! Georgia power is alot better!

I had several large and dying pine trees in my back yard and Mr. Anderson, the supervisor for the tree crew met with me due to the close proximity of the trees to the power lines. Mr. Anderson was extremely courteous and he and his crew laid those trees down with laser precision. I am extremely proud of those men and very proud of the hard and dangerous work they do for all of us. I was not charged for their hard work and Mr. Anderson arrived a week ahead of schedule due to the danger those trees posed on knocking out power and demolishing my home. I have the utmost respect for those men and the job they do to ensure we all have power in all kind of weather. I truly appreciate everyone at Grady EMC and have always been treated with the utmost courteous and respect.
