I flattened my boxes and had them against the trash can as required, they left all my boxes in the rain on the floor. I called CS, they apologized and said they would look into it after I requested for them to come back out and get the trash. They never did, I filed a missed pick up on the website, it was never responded to. I expect for a paid service to be done. Terrible work ethic across the board, avoid this company if you have the chance. They also skip rainy days from time to time, which is probably why they didn’t pick up my boxes as well. Smh

If you want an overflowing garbage bin in front of your house for days and if you want to see overflowing bins of garbage all throughout your neighborhood then this is the company for you. If you want to have to call often about your garbage not being picked up. And if you want to have more garbage than will fit in your bin because they did not pick your garage up on the appointed day THAT YOU PAID them for, then this is the company for you.

Beware of this company. Since they switched from American Disposal which I used for years my service was horrible. I finally cancelled my service at the end of last summer. Too many missed pick ups, rude staff and when they did pick up they would leave my trash bin in the middle of the street outside of my driveway. The worst part now is they are still trying to charge me for service I have not had after I cancelled. It’s a nightmare!! Again my advice is to not use them. I have been with Trash Taxi now since September 2024 and they are great and reliable.

I have been a customer since 2021 and have seen my quarterly bill increase to the point where I was shopping around with other trash providers. I found a company that was offering a much lower price for trash so I called WC ready to cancel my service and they offered to drop my quarterly rate even lower than what the other company was offering. I was so happy that they did this to keep me as a customer. The representative I spoke with, Ashley Curry, was very polite and courteous. Thank you!

I switched disposal pickup service to Waste Connections and was told that on Wednesday someone would drop off a trash bin and pick up my garbage. A bin was delivered but trash was not picked up even though I called at 10:45am on Wednesday to verify and was assured someone would pick up the trash by 7pm. That did not happen and I did not get any communication as to why it didn't happen. I just placed a call to Customer Service and asked for a Supervisor to call back. I will update the review to see how this is handled but, so far, the first impression is not good.
3/18/25 UPDATE: I received an email stating the day they would come out and pick up the trash and they did come but I never got a phone call as I had requested. I'll upgrade the review from one star to two stars since they did come out on the follow up.

3/19/25 UPDATE: Today was to be the day of my weekly pickup after Waste Connections fumbled the ball on my initial pickup as stated above. You would think they would have made an extra effort to pick up my trash on time but, as of 4pm, they had not picked it up and my wife called and was told "no one had it scheduled for today" even though it had 3/19 on my online account for pickup. I asked for a manager to give me a call to discuss the issue so let's see if someone actually calls. If they had just picked up my trash today I would have upgraded to 3 stars and the only reason I have one star is that it will not allow me to post the review with no stars but the official rating is negative 1 stars at this point.

DO NOT USE THEM Horrible experience. this company uses deceptive methods to keep customers under their contracts. their service has been horrible since they acquired waste management. W egave them grace during covid and they decided to pickup recycling every 2 weeks instead of weekly and charge us the same. when asked they said its just temporary cause of covid. we said temporary is ok. now 5 years later they said we are not going back to weekly and they even double their quarterly rate since then. we asked them to cancel our recycling service and charge only for trash and add another trash can for $2 monthly. they refused and said we still have to charge you for recycling service and are bullying us into staying with them against our will. we are a small neighborhood of 36 homes. and when they miss a weekly pickup they don't make up the next day, but instead they cancel that week altogether. so bad service, dubious acounting. DO NOT USE THEM.

I just wanted to leave a review of Waste Connections of Georgia so others may be aware of an extremely poorly run company. Hopefully this will prevent others from my experiences with Waste Connections.

We moved into our home two and a half years ago and started trash service with what was then American Trash. Had no issues. At some point it became Waste Connections and the issues started. At first not a big deal, they changed the trash pickup day. But then they could not pick up the trash on that newly assigned day (Friday), so they would come on Saturday. Not ideal, but the trash was being picked up, so I am ok with that. Others in the neighborhood seemed upset by it and were recommending switching to another company. Then one week the trash was not picked up at all. Sat in the street for a week getting overfilled. The community at that point got quotes from another company and I decided that we should be unified with the neighborhood and make the switch. New company thus far has been very good, picked up the trash on the assigned day, which is really what we pay for, right?

Now is when it starts to get bad. I call Waste Connections and cancel my service and ask when they will pick up their trash can. They said on Friday. Friday comes, I put the trash can out there. Evening comes, the trash can remains on my curb. I call again and they apologize and say they will come next Friday. Next Friday evening, trash can remains on my curb. I call them again and they say they will come today. Wheel the can back out to the street. It remains there at the end of the day. My wife calls them and we get an email saying they will come, but they do not. Fed up with it all, I load it up in my vehicle and drive it the 20 minutes to their office and drop it off in front of their front door. My wife and I are older and to have to wheel the trash can up and down the driveway multiple times and then to load it onto my vehicle is completely unsatisfactory and this is why I am compelled to write this review. In my view companies like this should not stay in business and so my recommendation is to not use Waste Connections if Georgia for your trash services. There are better choices in my view.

February 12, 2025 called and spoke to Keith McCray. I was very happy that I got him on the phone. His customer service skills were superb. We as customers don’t normally get someone on the phone that cares about you or your problem. But he does. Thanks again Keith
