If you live in Atlanta, don't use Georgia Power. They price gouge every chance they get. Winter months are manageable, but you're cooked once April rolls around. If you're over a month late on your bill, you will be sitting in the dark. They don't wait for a specific date, either. It will land on a Friday, so you have they whole weekend to think about your mistake. I can't stress this enough- use ANY other power company... Oh wait, they are the only power company. Weird.

Been with them so long I should be sent discounts but nothing but higher than normal bills especially when we aren't even home. My bills are more with less people than before. Ga Power never takes blame nor do they investigate or correct the error.

I can’t believe I’m forced to do business with y’all in Dekalb County. I put an extra $150 on my power bill after establishing services so I didn’t have to worry about it for 2 months. They charged me as normal the next month, and added a late fee. I called and let them know that I had a $150 credit in the account, but everybody I talk to after being on the phone for 2 hours can’t tell me where tf my $150 went. I will be reporting y’all to the GA Commission. Y’all are the grossest company in all of the land. Y’all steal, and lie so much. I’m convinced the training classes are ran by criminals. I will be coming to the physical address on Monday.

Greedy, evil people at the top. This is why monopolies should not exist in any capacity. My power bill has doubled on average from a few years ago while you bastards report $400 million in profits for '24. I'm trying to raise a family on 1 income.

They refused to turn on the power even if it’s an emergency they is t work weekends or past 4pm . The customer service reps are rude as do t know how to do anything at all and only reflect questions with them stating they can’t do anything g but answer the questions .

Worst power company i’ve ever had. I’ve lived all over the US and this is by far the worst company i’ve ever dealt with and in the
process of figuring out how to open a law suit against them. Our power goes out so frequently like every 2 weeks to the point we spent 700$ on solar powered portable power boxes (not the little portable phone chargers i mean big boxes with high wattage that can run TVs and our Fridge) , and today the power has been off since 7:30AM its currently 5:30PM, the power company that was here earlier left hours ago without the power being back on, our complex office closed at 5, like nobody is worried that we have no power over here and this happens multiple times a month. Whenever the first chance arises to switch to a different or new power company I will certainly be jumping on it.
