I know we can’t always get what we want and want things our way, so I can kind of understand why some people get mad. However the people in this office are doing an amazing job and they want to help. I had an amazing experience with the staff there and they helped me. Please smile and talk to the person helping you, because you’re not solving the problem by cursing and making a scene. I watched a young woman there yesterday who was having a fit because they would do things her way it was so uncalled for especially since the woman caused her own problems!!!!

The most unprofessional lazy staff you could ever encounter, they don't care to do their simple jobs and love giving attitude anytime they actually have to do work. They intentionally send paper statements late, so you get charged late fees on your bill and good luck getting them on the phone and if you do, one of their entitled rude employees will be sure to hang up on you after you half hour wait. Screw their rude employees, fire the whole staff and start fresh.

It’s comical how awful the customer service is here, if you’re ever having a bad day and in need of comical relief just call them and explain to them you’ve submitted the requested documents to turn water on at a property you’d like to know why they won’t turn it on, they will just hang up on you after over an hour hold time. Literally the worst utility place I have ever dealt with out of 10 cities I’ve been in. They get 1 star making me laugh.

I've been having issues about my water bill for months now. Bill was reflecting 17 units above actual. UPDATE: got a supervisor and they're working to correct the issue. Fingers crossed. I emailed them some photos and am waiting on an updated bill. Two weeks and I'll update again.

So I am disabled. I apply for energy assistance through
EOA They say that they never received commitment our payment so I contact the agency. The lady who approved payment to the water department got on the phone with them after I get a 3 way call and patched in the supervisir. How could I miss my name when I'm second on the list? Of people that they were gonna help then. I check my mail and these people talking about. I missed the payment that's so they can charge you a late fee. They're good for doing that. I'm not paying a late fee. Do what you gotta do okay. Nobody wants to do their job Savannah, how it's poor city. Officials from coal enforcement down to the mayor down to the governor is just a sad state of affairs. Nobody wants to do their job.
But everybody wants a damn paycheck

I moved to Savannah six months ago and so far dealing with waterboard its been a nightmare.My last billing cycle was due 8/9/24 and I submitted my electronic payment 8/2 and they did the withdrawal 8/3 so I assumed everything was good because payment went through but next month I received a later of utility disconnection because no payment was made.I called customer service and the person affir there were no payment.Second time I called ,I had all information on hand and i gave them confirmation # and the serial numbers they used when money it's withdraw.Someone called me 2 days after to let me know the money it's there but never post it.WhyyyyyWhat its going on there.I just had my new bill and they have the guts to change me for late fee.I won't pay,I'm ready to go downtown and show all the proof I have.PLEASE MAKE SURE TO KEEP RECIEPTS OF PAYMENTS,I DO NOT KNOW WHAT ARE TGEY DOING WITH PEOPLE MONEYNO SENSE TO PUT PAYMENT MONEY ON THE SIDE .......

It's 2024, not 2004. Get rid of your (pretty high) fee to use a credit card, and provide a way to set up auto payments without having to print something, fill out a piece of paper, void a check, snail mail something, then wait over a month before it's (maybe?) set up.

Oh, and when I asked about how to set up automatic payments, they replied to the wrong email address (even though I entered it correctly). The person who owns the email address was kind enough to forward me the email (which contained PII) though thankfully.

We notified the company that we were moving out of our apartment at the beginning of the year. However they never shut off the water. When we got a water bill from another state I was pretty confused. I thought it would be an easy fix but they have done nothing. So now we are left with ANOTHER tenants $250 bill plus a late fee because they REFUSE to answer any emails or phone calls! It is not fair that I am footing a bill I cannot afford because they didn’t shut our water off.
