I came in to try and get some parts to fix my stove, cash in hand. While I was there I started talking to one of the technicians. After speaking with them, not only did they talk me out of the sale, which was for a substantial amount of money, but they gave me instructions on how to fix the stove for absolutely free. These guys are amazing, they really care about what they're doing, and they're focused on helping and serving their community.

The person in the store was super friendly and knowledgeable and got us an appointment to have someone come look at the project we’ve been wanting to do. Time taken off of work and a no show.. we called and our appointment was forgotten. We understand- these things happen, but in the back of our minds it was a bit of a red flag. We rescheduled. The visit went well with promises of a call shortly. That call never came and it has been a long while at this point . We will not be calling again to check in. We cannot chase down someone who is supposed to want to work with us . Although we are happy some had a wonderful experience at Green Energy Options, ignoring customers and not reconnecting when you say will is not a good way to do business. We will be inquiring with another company on our project. No need to try and connect with us please .. or write to say sorry , thank you! unfortunately we cannot recommend.

We wanted to put in a pellet stove insert in our existing wood burning fireplace for many years. We thought it would be too expensive to do, so we researched for a while, and even considered putting it in ourselves. The furnace in our house died and instead of replacing that and relying on oil for heat, we took the leap and decided to put in the pellet stove. BEST decision we ever made! On a whim, I stopped in at Green Energy Options and was shocked to find out how reasonable their pricing was! It would cost the same amount of money to purchase everything we needed and install by ourselves as it would to have Green Energy Options do the project for us. The sales staff is so friendly and knowledgeable with their products, they helped us pick out exactly what we would need and it fit right into our budget. I cannot say enough good stuff about the install crew! James and his staff were so professional, very friendly, and explained everything so well to us. They were so clean- the first crew I’ve ever had that left the workspace cleaner than when they got there. I highly recommend Green Energy Options for any project you are considering!

I had an issue with my pellet stove that a friend had given to me.

James from Green Energy Options asked me a couple questions and after I sent him the info he was able to gather the needed resources and come over and figure out the issue.

He went right to work and it seems it needed a good cleaning. But James didn’t stop there he took it apart to look inside and give it a good inspection. It turns out there was a broken seal that was not allowing the stove to evacuate the smoke properly. Also it needed a new igniter.

I’m brand new to pellet stoves so I didn’t know much about them prior to this.

After a thorough inspection and identifying additional issues, james repaired all of them and had that thing up and running like new by the next morning.

He even showed me how to clean it, make the repair it I ever needed to in the future and he gave me some recommendations about the stove and what would help it to burn hotter.

You just don’t find customer service like that these days at many places. But I know you will at Green Energy Options, especially with James on the job.

A bit difficult to access because of street construction but worth it. Product variety good. Prices competitive. Delivery and installation was fraught with problems and damage to our porch but owner waived installation fee to compensate for damage. Ongoing stove problems still unresolved months later. Will not be a place we recommend. A year later we had more problems with our MORSA stove. Green Energy stove technician came and 'fixed' it but treated us as if we were none too bright or understood woodstoves. Also tried to say we weren't using it correctly. Well, OK. We read the manuals for the stove thoroughly, had spoken with the owner about how to care for it, have 2 thermometers to monitor temp, and have had woodstoves for 40 years. So maybe it was us, but think not. Wish we had bought a different stove.

I contacted GEO after another local company failed to adequately clean my chimney and wouldn’t call me back regarding ongoing issues with my wood stove. James and Pablo could not have been kinder or more helpful. I now have a clean chimney and my stove is running perfectly.
