Me my boyfriend just moved into a new house about 2 weeks ago. I called last Wednesday to switch my landlords name on the account to mine for the new service. Friday when i got home i had no power, someone came out and cut it off at 4:30pm on a Friday. When i called Georgia Power on Friday they instated no one’s name was on a account for my address. I started a account for my new address in my name and tried to get the power turned back on on Friday when the lady on the phone told me they had one one that worked on the weekends and no one could turn the power back on till Monday. Yesterday (Monday) our power was still not on at 4pm, so i called Georgia power back and they stated someone would be out Tuesday, so i asked to speak with a supervisor. When i spoke with a supervisor he told me someone would be out Monday before 7pm. Here it is Tuesday morning and no power. I have never had so much problem with a power company before!!!!!!

Power is always going out for no reason. People who are reliant on medical equipment to help breathe are just out of luck I guess. Just ridiculous.
