This company is disgusting, they are professional thieves, I just moved to Dalton for work reasons and the bills compared to those of GEORGIA POWER, which I am still a client of because my other house is still in Buford is crazy! How is it possible that the month of December 1-31 I only lived 5 days in the entire month and paid a bill of $250? I received a call where they told me to wear jackets and turn off the heat, what the hell did I say? Now I lived longer, the month of January 1-31 and I receive this bill! Of almost 500 dollars, never in my life in Buford with GPW the maximum of a flat bill $184, here I only live with my two little daughters, one is 1 and the other is 4 years old and we only come home to sleep, I keep everything practically turned off and this crazy bill comes out! Be careful of these thieves! If it existed I would change companies quickly!

Really wish we had more options for power. Our power bill has gone higher and higher over the years. The system support fee I was told is for the meter. Everyone gets charged the same for that. So you get extra money from EVERY household for having a meter, something you have to have anyway or no power. Thought that's what we are paying energy charge and TVA power generation fuel charge for.. It's already enough we pay these high prices and let's not forget if you don't pay right on the 1st or your due date they already tack on a late fee. They don't care that you haven't gotten paid yet. Ridiculous, ridiculous, ridiculous

I’m not sure why so many bad reviews. My electric bill has never been lower! If u had GA Power with their ridiculous rates u would not be complaining! Thank you North Georgia EMC for keeping our rates low.

WHAT THE HELL!!!
My light bill is $299 but my total is $460.41 because I’m being charged power generation fuel charge $90.53 system support fee $25.56 what friggin system!!! Local tax $29.07 and franchise tax $16.61 I don’t own a franchise!!! What the actual hell is this!!! I don’t even know what to do with this!!!

Lady that I called said that they could get power put on if I called by 5:30 and filled out the necessary information I called back for a update and got some extremely rude lady that said she didn’t deal with it and can only message them and she said I would get a reply tomorrow very unprofessional and they seem to have communication issues on how things are handled.

Shut my power off over a payment late by ten days. Never missed a payment before. And the late fee is over 600 dollars. If I could use a different company I would.

I realize that my opinion may be unpopular, but I've been very pleased with my service here. Our electric bill is consistent and reasonable. We rarely lose power and I've never had a problem with them. We were with Georgia Power in the past and I very much disliked them.

If you owe them money they will cut ur power off. Yet they owe u money it takes weeks to get back. Thanks for making a situation worse than it already was was.
