High winds overnight on 8/9/23 brought down a branch on our electrical line from the street. Called the utility office, was asked to confirm my contact information, and was told someone would be by to take a look. Maybe 30 minutes later, a young man stopped by, looked things over, and called for a crew to come out. He said it would be around 30 minutes, and two trucks and linemen showed up not long after that. They cut the branches off the line, then took them to the street and called for a pickup for next week.

Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional, and took a load off our minds. Extremely pleased and impressed with the response we received.

I would give a negative if possible. Wife and I moved 2 weeks ago, shut the breakers off and the utility bill for our last month's is 219 dollars. Then they said they cannot prove that, I also said I have a letter that shows we moved out of state since the 12th, so even if the breaker is not off the bill should not be that high when no power is being actively used. Dont need a degree to know that but maybe they should require one to work there. Secondly, average bill runs between 130-180 and that is full an entire month. So someone please tell me how that is 219 this month.

The worst electronic company I've ever had to deal with! You never get the same story when you call in about your account, the reps literally hang up on you, you get a lot of "im not sure" or "i don't know why someone told you that" and when you ask for your call to be reviewed (is all recorded) everyone wants to pretend your a hot potato and pass you around with a result of nothing. The auto draft system is a complete joke only pulling your payment when the system feels like it. This is the absolute worst electric company to deal with all the way from the reps in the office to the automated auto draft. Cartersville electric company is so luck there isn't another electric company to choose from or they would be out of business, with an average of 2.3 stars im clearly not the only one who feels this way!

Have lived in Cartersville for 7 years and always been in good standing on the account. Was 4 days late this month due to time of check landing in account and they charged a $30.00 late fee which they refused to remove.

To say this place is a joke would be an understatement. Nobody can help or give answers. They cut my power off repeatedly even though my account is on auto draft. I’ve lost over $1,000 in frozen groceries and had to spend almost $200 on a hotel stay and they have no answers or solutions for me. The staff is rude and they don’t know anything that’s going on. It’s been nothing but a displeasure and consistent incompetence dealing with these backwood hillbillies.

They shut you off at the coldest time of year. There is no medical if bill ain't in person name i mean i have a disabled son who is on the lease which means he lives in the home also an asthmatic in home and they do not accept the medical bc it isn in the kids name go figure

Could be way better. No power outage map. Last couple of years at my location has seen way too many outages that do not seem to affect other areas. (Old circuit?) Biggest thing to me though is just lack of communication. Get that and I'll raise this 2 stars.
